1. Rapper Lil Wayne is “alive and well” after being hospitalised yesterday, despite reports that he was receiving his last rites.
The 30 year old was rushed to hospital in LA yesterday, having suffered a seizure. Entertainment news website TMZ reported he had been placed in an induced coma, with his family and friends gathering to say their goodbyes.
But Mack Maine, president of Young Money – the record label founded by Lil Wayne – responded to these claims today on Twitter, telling fans not to believe the “nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe” and that his friend was “alive and well”.
Lil Wayne has since tweeted a message of his own: “I’m good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love.” He has suffered several unexplained seizures in recent months
