Sam Frost's best selfie to date is also her realest.

Mental health, body positive and anti-bullying advocate Sam Frost is arguably one of the best young women going around. And her most recent selfie only helped remind us of that.

Posting on Instagram on Tuesday night, the 26-year-old radio host shared an image of herself ready for bed, makeup free and smiling.

The caption accompanying the image read, “I’m not going to lie.. I spent 10 minutes fiddling around, more contrast, more highlight, less shadow, to try and make the dark circles under my eyes not look so harsh. Then I had the realisation.. that it completely defeats the purpose of posting photos of me, just being me.. So I reverted everything & here’s the raw pic. Anddd I’m currently feeling so homesick. Missing my friends & family in Melbourne big time #noplacelikehome.”

In a world obsessed with near-impossible beauty standards, it’s refreshing to see a star come out and share candid moments with thousands of followers.

While Frost admits to loving a night out with hair and makeup, this is not the first makeup free selfie she's shared. The regularity of which makes for a refreshing change of social media pace.

Frost, who was visited by her family over the weekend, has said that her schedule as a co-presenter on the radio show  Rove and Sam has lead to some major changes in her life - mostly very early nights.

We're pretty sure boyfriend Sasha Mielczarek doesn't mind.
