The best, most questionable and most deceiving looks from the SAG Awards red carpet.

The Screen Actor's Guild Awards took place this week, but you'd be forgiven for not clocking that.

The SAG Awards fall just before the Oscars and, because of this unfortunate fact, they always feel like the monotone father-in-law who starts monologuing during the wedding speeches, preventing the open bar from fully kicking into action.

We're all just looking past him and waiting for the main event to start.

Nevertheless, the SAGs have the excitement of allowing both the stars of film and TV to mingle in the same room, so the red carpet looks are always worth a peek while you wait for Married At First Sight to start.

So here are the best, most questionable and most deceiving looks from the 2025 SAG Awards red carpet.

This is triggering for millennial women everywhere — the peplum really is making a comeback.

(My friends, resist the urge to decapitate yourselves with some butterfly hair clips or a waist belt, it's really not worth it.)

Adam Brody and Leighton Meester.

Look, I know everyone likes to romanticise these two because of their teen drama origin stories, but the truth is that Blair Waldorf would have wiped the floor with Seth Cohen (had she known that he existed) and this marriage goes against the sanctity of the Gossip Girl and The OC universes.

Nice scarf though.

This is… fine, I guess. To be honest, if this man isn't clad in chef whites with a lit cigarette dangling from his trembling, unshaven lip and looking emotionally damaged, then I don't want to hear about it.

A riff on the bridesmaid's dress that the bride swore up and down you'd be able to wear again, but is unfortunately destined to languish in the back of your closet.

This is the face of a woman who knows that a legion of fans with unhealthy parasocial relationship issues are about to descend on her for daring to date Andrew Garfield — and is readying herself for the fight. Quite the complimentary accessory to this glam red dress, actually.

Nicola Coughlan.

Nicola Coughlan is here to show us that being Lady Whistledown means you're not afraid to pilfer a dress from Meryl Streep's spare closet and pair it with the gloves that Kourtney Kardashian stashed next to her skeleton onesie when she started couple-dressing with Travis Barker.

Anna Sawai.

Anna Sawai always looks as if someone asked AI to create the most effortlessly glamorous red carpet look in existence, and she just popped out.

(I know we're attempting to stop AI from taking over the arts and all, but if this is the outcome, then I, for one, welcome our new Artificial Overlords.)

Timothée Chalamet.

Why does Timothée Chalamet always look like the guy you regret matching with on a dating app who forgot his phone is dead and now needs your Uber to drop him back at his parents' place?

In contrast, I'll just leave this perfect image of Colman Domingo right here in order to cleanse your eyes a bit, should you need it.

Just think of him as the sorbet of the SAG Awards.

Pamela Anderson.

You might think that Pamela Anderson is looking very regal in this flowing white gown, but looks can be deceiving.

It's actually all just a distraction from the fact that she's currently placing a hex on every Academy Awards voter who dared to show their face at the SAG Awards after snubbing her from their Best Actress category.

Jeremy Strong

If this was anyone else I'd say he definitely didn't kill Kermit the Frog in cold blood and watch with joy as the life left his body before preceding to strip his skin and wear it as a suit…but with Jeremy Strong nothing is ever really off the table.

Aisha Dee.

I would need all three wishes from a genie and the power of Lucifer himself to make my breasts sit as perfectly in this dress as Apple Cider Vinegar star Aisha Dee has managed here.

Also, you're not imagining it, that high-pitched scream you hear in the distance is coming from Jennifer Lopez, who just realised this dress was no longer up for grabs.
