Paul Cattermole, an original member of the British pop group S Club 7, died on Friday at his home in the UK, the band has announced. He was 46.
"We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul," the band said in a statement on social media.
"There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.
"He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time."
Only a few months earlier in February, S Club 7 announced they would be reuniting for their 25th anniversary with a tour throughout the UK and Ireland.
All seven members appeared on BBC's One Show to talk about performing together again.
"I think where we are in the world right now, we just want to get up there and bring some joy and positivity," Rachel Stevens said at the press conference.
"I can speak for myself - my kids listen to our music - I think our lyrics and everything are so joyful and so positive and to bring that back to kids today and that nostalgia is such a special thing to be a part of."
