Mamamia’s What’s In Her Bag series asks Aussie women to give us a look at their everyday beauty routines. Kind of like a sex diary but with beauty. So… not like a sex diary at all. We discover what women are putting on their faces, how much of their hard-earned cash goes towards beauty, and what works for their busy lives. There’s no right or wrong, just real beauty from real women. This week, content creator Ruchi Page shows us what’s in her bag.
Name: Ruchi.
Age: 30.
Job: Content creator, model, and writer.
Biggest skin concern: Congestion, fine lines and dullness.
AM skincare routine.
Things I will comfortably complain about in the AM: early starts that should be illegal, functioning without coffee and the neighbours 7am decision to bring out the leaf blower. Things I will not complain about: breakfast in bed and my beloved morning skincare routine. Let’s unpack.
It all begins in the shower. I pump two to three to an unnecessary four pumps of the Go-To Skincare Properly Clean Cleanser and smother it onto my face. Once massaged and refreshed, rinse. The Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser makes a regular appearance during the cooler months, this is a keeper for retaining moisture in the skin. Both of these are on high rotation and I wouldn’t mind being buried with them, to be morbidly honest.
Hydration and protection are the next steps. First up, the addictive Fresh Beauty Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence for a supple base followed by a soothing dab of the Sunday Riley Auto Correct Eye Cream around the orbital bone. Then, depending on how freaky I’m feeling, I’ll throw on a Go-To Skincare Much Plumper Skin Serum for ultra juicy skin, followed by a vitamin C for antioxidants galore and skin tone evening benefits. The Caudalie VinoPerfect Complexion Correcting Radiance Serum and the SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Serum have been responsible for the luminosity boost lately.
