Why Robert thinks Ali could potentially choose the wrong person on The Bachelorette.

Robert has officially left The Bachelorette mansion but he shan’t stop talking about lessons that need to be learnt.

If you cast your mind all the way back to last Thursday, you’ll remember that Robert suddenly became very concerned that Ali had not learnt her lesson about Grant and also the… stairs.

When speaking to Ali’s friends he kept going on about said lessons that needed to learnt and they weren’t… into it.

Then he told Ali about the lessons she needed to learn and she too wasn’t… into it.

Anywho, last night Ali decided to send Robert home. He told Mamamia he wasn’t surprised when he didn’t receive a rose.

“I think at that point Ali and I had got to a point of no return,” he told Mamamia. “And things were starting to get a little bit too hard too soon.”

“It probably needed too much love and attention in order to keep it going.”

The 29-year-old said he went into the show “locked, loaded and ready to go” but he didn’t think Ali was ready to make a commitment to him.

“We just kept hearing time and time again that her friends were coming and she needed to make sure that she wasn’t going to repeat the past, and make the same mistakes again, and date the same losers,” he explained.

“I just wanted to make sure that she’s learnt the lesson she needed to learn in order to not do it again.”

Now, months on, Robert is still not sure whether Ali has learnt her lesson.

“Whoever Ali chooses I think will be right for her at that point in time,” he explained. “My whole thing was has she learnt her lesson, and let’s hope she has, because if she has she won’t choose the wrong guy again.”

“If she hasn’t, then yeah, potentially she’s going to choose the wrong guy and unfortunately go through the same bad relationship drama that she has in the past.”

Like the rest of us, Robert has no idea who is going to win this goddamn competition.

He thinks it could be Taite but also Bill, and possibly Todd. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

“I’m a bit stumped at the moment, I don’t know who’s going to win. I’m tuning in every week to find out myself.”
