The Bachelorette's Rhys was awkwardly caught napping mid-cocktail party.

It’s no secret that the filming of reality TV dating shows can take hours. We’ve heard stories of contestants forced to stand for ages during those nail-biting rose ceremonies.

We’ve even seen how those cameraman are often sitting awfully close during some particularly intimate moments.

But we never thought we’d see the day when one contestant was caught NAPPING on set.

Enter The Bachelorette‘s Rhys, the model-turned-Harry Potter lookalike whose rivalry with fellow contestant Sam caused more of a stir than who Georgia was pashing every week.

In a behind-the-scenes clip from the show, Rhys is sprung by front-runner Cam catching a bit of shut-eye while Georgia wasn’t watching.

“You all good, Rhysy? You OK? Are you having a nap?” Cam asks a clearly startled Rhys.

Rhysy boy, we know the feeling.

Lord knows the amount of times we've been at a party, glass of champagne in hand, when we spot a comfy couch and think "if we just curl up and snooze here, will anyone even notice?"

For us normal, everyday humans, the answer is probably no.

But when you're competing against a number of other guys for the love and attention of just one girl, all the while being surrounded by cameras, the answer is a resounding 'YES'.

Fortunately for Rhys, he's got all the time in the world to catch up on his beauty sleep since Georgia sent him packing last week.
