Don’t cha ever wonder what happened to the members of The Pussycat Dolls?

The girl group was originally created in 1995, as an a neo-burlesque troupe, by famous choreographer, Robin Anton. However, when Nicole Scherzinger joined the ranks in 2003, the band underwent a transformation and were catapulted into the mainstream.

They became known for their slick choreography and boppy songs.

In fact, they had some of the catchiest songs of the early noughties. Think, ‘Buttons’, ‘When I Grow Up’, and of course, ‘Don’t Cha’.

Everyone remembers the group’s lead, Scherzinger, but what ever became of her and the others after the group folded in 2010?

Here's what they are up to these days.

Nicole Scherzinger

We totally believed Nicole Scherzinger when the 47-year-old told The Guardian (in third person), “It takes a lot for Nicole Scherzinger to burn out.”

It's clear she likes to keep busy. Since The Pussycat Dolls disbanded in 2010 after five years on the charts, Nicole has worked as an X-Factor and Masked Singer judge, Broadway star, America’s Got Talent panellist and influencer.

In 2023, she returned to her roots. "To me, music is emotion," she told PEOPLE at the time. "Music is story. I just want to go back to my love of music, my love of singing, my love of telling stories through songs, connecting on a much deeper level through performance, having people transcend through these performances and be moved, inspired or changed in some way."

She debuted her comeback track ‘Freedom’ at Sydney’s World Pride event in May that year to resounding success. The song features lyrics like, "Please allow me to introduce myself/I'm not that little doll you knew/She paid her dues/Now she owns herself."

The words hold similar sentiments to what other members of The Pussycat Dolls have said about their time in the band, starting with Melody Thornton.

Scherzinger also returned to the West End in 2023, starring as Norma Desmond in the revival of Sunset Boulevard. She received the Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Musical Performance and the 2024 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical. A year later, the singer made her Broadway debut in the same role, which earned her a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical.

Most recently, Scherzinger starred as a judge in the singing competition, Building The Band. The singer starred alongside her friend, the late Liam Payne.

"We've dedicated this show to Liam," Scherzinger said on Late Night With Seth Meyers. "We're so proud of him. He had such an amazing time. We had so much fun doing the show together and he's such a beautiful, kind soul and heart."

As for her personal life, Scherzinger has been engaged to Scottish rugby player Thom Evans since 2023 and told US radio that they will get married "when I'm not working. Thank God he is so patient".

Melody Thornton

“I was just a back-up dancer. It was very painful for me. It was a big opportunity to show what I could do and I was never given that chance really,” Melody Thornton told The Sun while reflecting on her time in the girl group.

The 40-year-old also made a bombshell confession: she never actually sang. “In order to carry on singing, people need to know that you can sing in the first place and that wasn't really the case for me in the group, so it was actually very painful.”

But Thornton eventually found her pipes in 2022 when she competed in and won The Masked Singer Australia. So, she could sing after all? “I’m a phenomenal vocalist, you just never heard it with the Pussycat Dolls," she said. She went on to appear in the UK Masked Singer as well, where she was unmasked in the sixth episode.

"Growing up, my idols were Janet Jackson and Paula Abdul and I was into pop — edgier stuff," Ashley Roberts told You, in the midst of her comeback.

"What's been awesome about my life is that it's taken so many twists. That's been challenging at times but it's exciting too."

One twist was the band folding, but like Scherzinger, reality TV became her bread and butter.

After leaving the band, in 2012 she competed on the British instalment of I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! She placed runner-up. Then she took a punt on Strictly Come Dancing and Saturday Night Takeaway.

In 2022, the now-43-year-old hosted the British reality show The Real Dirty Dancing UK, and later presented Netflix's Dance Monsters and Heart Radio's Heart 00's. Most recently, she penned a book called Breathwork which offers techniques for better mental, emotional and physical health.

Just this month, Roberts, who is in a relationship with George Rollinson, an artist and tattooist, spoke about her decision not to have kids.

"It really never has been a priority to me," she said on Jamie Laing's Great Company podcast. "Even as a kid, I told my mom, 'I don't think I want kids, I don't really care if I get married.' It wasn't like I was the girl planning the wedding and seeing the whole white picket fence and all that.

"I kinda kept thinking, 'Well, maybe when I get older, that will shift,' and I'm like, 'It hasn't really shifted.' Again, who knows? I think every day, we've got to allow ourselves to exist in the possibility of waking up the next day and feeling different. Although, as a woman, we've got our biological clock."

Kimberly Wyatt

Post-Pussycats, Kimberly Wyatt has lived a busy existence. "I've really been fortunate to continue working as an actress, still teaching dance classes, and still doing many things," she told Buzz mid-pandemic. But it was the cancelled The Pussycat Dolls reunion tour in 2020 that was a real kick to the performer's guts.

With no prospects of that tour resuming, Wyatt said her time in the entertainment industry has left her with a very thick skin, or "armour", as she described it.

"You've got to have a bit of a body of armour, and when things get tough, the tough gets going! You do have to pick yourself up and just keep at it and hope that things get better."

Now based in the UK, the former Pussycat doll hosts the KW Show, which she describes as "a high-energy DJ Show that brings my love for dance, DJing and music together".

The 43-year-old is also raising three children, two daughters and a son, with hubby, Max Rogers.

Carmit Bachar

Before Carmit Bachar, 50, became a member of the Pussycat Dolls, she was a backup dancer for the likes of Beyoncé, Michael Jackson, and Jennifer Lopez. She even danced alongside Janet Jackson during that infamous Superbowl Halftime Show.

Bachar quit the ensemble in 2008 in an attempt to go solo, but it took until 2017 for her to release her own music.

She still remembers her days in PCD as some of her favourites because of the songs. "We have some amazing hits that never get old," she told Larry and Kylie on The Morning Show in 2022.

These days, she is raising a 13-year-old daughter with her husband Kevin Whitaker, and still takes to the stage.

Jessica Sutta

Jessica Sutta also said she felt like a wallflower in PCD. "I basically felt like nothing more than a glorified back-up dancer after seven years with the group," she told Life & Style in 2010.

The 43-year-old eventually packed her bags and left, just like Bachar. "I wasn't feeling like I was growing in the situation. It was something I had to do. Breaking my rib is what sent me over the edge."

But unlike Bachar, she had success right off the bat, with her single 'Show Me' which reached number-one on the Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart.

Sutta took a hiatus from music in 2021 to focus on motherhood.

She and her husband, Mikey Marquart, welcomed a baby boy on May 25 that year in Santa Monica, California. He weighed eight pounds, six ounces, and measured 21 inches long.

"After pushing for four hours, I ended up having a C-section and they moved fast and quickly and made it less intimidating for me, because I was definitely nervous," Sutta said in a statement to ET at the time.

"But there was so much joy and amazing chemistry between nurses and doctors that they made the experience a comfortable and an unforgettable one! They even played rock music during the surgery, and when MJ was born he came out to 'Good Times Bad Times' by Led Zeppelin."

"Mummy, Baby and Daddy are now safe and doing well at home, enjoying their new family," a rep for the family also told the publication.
