2 psychics told us what to expect in 2024. Here's what's come true (so far).

Back at the end of last year, which now feels like approximately forever ago, I spoke to a couple of psychics about how 2024 was going to unfold, and they had some wild predictions.

Debbie Malone, a psychic medium, author, psychic detective and spiritual teacher, and David Stevens (aka David the Medium), a psychic clairvoyant and medium, shared what they saw coming in 2024, both for celebrities and us regular folk.

And because I have absolute faith in the realm of all things magical and mystical, I was not at all surprised when some of the predictions began coming true over the course of the past year.

Now that 2025 is almost here, it's time to look back at the moments the psychics called — and how they've played out.

The prediction: Margot Robbie will welcome a daughter.

"I'm seeing a little girl around Margot Robbie, so we could be seeing news of a pregnancy in the next 12-18 months," Debbie told me, adding that Margot and her husband Tom Ackerley "have lovely energy".

What's happened: Margot had a baby!

Margot becoming a mum was one of Debbie's strongest, clearest predictions — and while it was a son she welcomed on October 17 with her husband, Tom Ackerley, our psychic still nailed the pregnancy prediction.

The couple didn't officially confirm the pregnancy, but didn't really need to, with the Barbie star showing off her bump at various events in the lead-up to the arrival of their boy.

We haven't heard much about the new arrival since his, um… arrival. But that's fair — new parents doing new parent things, right?

Score one to Debbie the psychic.

The prediction: William and Kate step up.

"When I look at Kate and William, I can see them stepping up more in their Royal roles," Debbie said. "I don't see Charles in the throne for a long time. I feel he may have to step down due to health issues in the next three to four years. I just don't see him being there," Debbie predicted.

What's happened: Charles' cancer diagnosis.

Okay, so Debbie suggested King Charles would be stepping down in the next few years... and in February this year, the Palace shared that the King had been diagnosed with cancer. They didn't specify which type of cancer the 75-year-old was battling, but they did note that he was undergoing radiotherapy treatment.

The King has since returned to public duties, but this diagnosis could be the start of the journey that leads him down the path away from the throne, handing over to his son, Prince William, and daughter-in-law, Princess Catherine. One to watch.

The prediction: Expect some drama in the US.

"The US will likely have its most difficult year in its modern history — especially in the lead up to, and around, the Presidential Election in November," David said.

"This tension for them begins around April."

What's happened: Er... what hasn't happened?

Oh, man.

Where to... even start?

I guess it's not *super* surprising that the US was due to go through some C-r-A-z-Y d-R-a-M-a this year, what with the Presidential election in November and all.

But honestly. Honestly. Who could've anticipated the level of chaos that unfolded?

President Joe Biden's underwhelming first Presidential debate against Trump, followed by two very public, very awkward flubs.

Trump's hush-money trial, which kicked off in April (ahem, nailed it, David).

The assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

Biden stepping down, his Vice Pres Kamala Harris stepping up to run for the top job...

The overwhelming number of Republican votes, ushering Trump back into the White House for a second term in 2025.

I mean. Come on.

But let's recap:

At the NATO summit in Washington on Friday, July 12, Biden accidentally referred to Ukrainian President Voldymyr Zelensky as "President Putin".

"And now I want to hand it over to the president of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination, ladies and gentlemen, President Putin," Biden said, drawing gasps from those in the room.

"... President Zelensky," he then corrected himself. "I am so focused on beating Putin."

As if that wasn't awkward enough, he then referred to his VP, Harris, as his enemy opponent, Trump, several days later at a news conference. "Look, I wouldn't have picked Vice President Trump to be vice president if she was not qualified to be president. So start there," Biden said. Gah.

The chaos continued when a shooter made an attempt on former President Trump's life on July 14 during a rally in Pennsylvania. (He was fine, apart from a wee scratch on his ear, but like, wow.)

Oh, and then Biden — whose followers and fans alike were low-key b-e-g-g-i-n-g to step aside, due to fears around his um... getting older... (see: accidentally calling people the very wrongest of names) — bowed out of the race.

His VP, Harris, stepped up to run for the biggest job in the US, and while many people thought she had a real chance in the lead-up to the November 5 election, it turns out most of the country wanted *checks notes* another crack with Trump.

Other than announcing a somewhat surprising cabinet in the months since his election (including putting billionaire buddy Elon Musk in a new top advisory job), things have been fairly quiet.

But with the official inauguration coming up on January 20, 2025, we're bound to see more chaos play out as power is transferred.

I, for one, will be prepping popcorn and settling in for what's coming in 2025.
