'I asked a psychic for her 2025 predictions, and what she said floored me.'

Wow, 2024 was some ride, huh?

The general sentiment on social media as the year wrapped up went something along the lines of "worst year ever" (don't we say that every year?). But it's over now, friends. We can breathe a collective sigh of relief, because 2025 is here.

Well.

We *hope* we can exhale.

But wouldn't it all be easier if we knew what was coming?

To be forewarned is to be forearmed, so I do like to kick every year off with a little peek at what's coming in the next 12 months. (I did it ahead of 2024, and yep, some of those predictions were spot on.)

Alas, I'm not psychic myself. But I know someone who is: Mikki Fisher, psychic medium and host of The Village Crazy Lady podcast. I hit her up and, bless her socks, Mikki shared her year-ahead predictions with me — for the world at large, for celebs, for the royals… And holy moly, we're in for another crazy one!

Grab the popcorn and settle in — here's a snapshot of what Mikki says we should be prepared to see happen in 2025.

General 2025 vibe check.

All I can say is, look out, Tinseltown.

"I think it's just going to be a really revealing year," said Mikki. "The curtain comes down and the veil is sort of being lifted. There's a recognition of what's really going on, especially in Hollywood."

Not in an illuminati-lizard-people-conspiracy-theory kind of way, mind you; more like, 2025 will feel very real compared to 2024's sensationalism.

"I think this 'revealing' of Hollywood will also show up in other areas as well. We'll see similar patterns in politics, and also religion," said Mikki.

"We're really moving into such a revolutionary time."

Let's talk about the Diddy allegations.

This was all anybody could talk about for the last few months of 2024, and you'd better believe I want to know how the story might unfold in 2025.

In September 2024, Sean 'Diddy' Combs was arrested at a Manhattan hotel, and charged with racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. (If you need a refresher, click here).

And there's more to come this year, said Mikki.

"So the Diddy stuff is huge… Basically, there's no coming back for him. That is it."

But in 2025, Mikki sees a spotlight on Jay Z, who was also named in a sexual assault lawsuit originally filed against Diddy.

"There is no coming back for him either," said Mikki, adding that she predicts "evidence that is undeniable" coming to light.

"It'll be more shocking for people, the Jay Z stuff, than the Diddy stuff. And I just see he'll be unable to PR his way out of it."

Mikki predicts "a raid or something around February, and then April/May is when I see an arrest happening".

This is basically what kicks off the year of the Hollywood "reckoning", she added.

"It'll kind of be the beginning of recognising how twisted the industry is and what goes on — especially around how they use people who come from no money, and they use kids, and it's just an abuse of power.

"I don't see anyone else really big kind of getting involved yet, but I see there's a political connection as well."

Beyoncé's 2025 looks… calmer?

When Jay Z was accused last year of raping a then-13-year-old girl in 2000, his wife Beyoncé stood by him. They even walked the red carpet the next night as a family with their daughter, Blue Ivy, for the movie premiere of Mufasa.

But we wonder what the singer's next move will be — especially if Mikki's prediction is accurate, and evidence of some wrongdoing on Jay's part manifests.

"She's so aware of it all. What came through for me around Beyoncé is she's not standing by a man."

In fact, Mikki said she's expecting it to come out that they've been "separated for a while".

"She knows how to play the PR machine," she said. While all the noise is focused on Jay, "she'll be able to just disappear".

"She is like, 'There is no way that you are taking me down with this.' People love Beyoncé, it'll be very easy for her to just disappear and she'll just be remembered as Beyoncé. I just see her sort of disappearing out of it."

Is Ashton Kutcher headed for some drama?

"I definitely see something happening with Ashton Kutcher!" said Mikki.

"He is another one who I see going down in a big way. I feel like it's more in the middle of the year, and I see it being for something a bit different…" — that is, not allegations around sexual assault or rape, as we've seen some other celebs accused of.

"[My spiritual guides] just keep saying 'fraudulent.'"

The future of Taylor and Travis' relationship.

Sorry, Swifties. While Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's romance has been a gift since they hard launched, Mikki doesn't see it lasting the year.

"This is the most PR relationship ever," said Mikki.

Say it ain't so!!

"Taylor is a PR girl. She does not ever do anything by accident — ever. She works that machine like nobody's business, and it works for her. Their relationship has benefited both of them so much. I see them keeping it up until about beginning of August or end of July.

"[The split] will be amicable, and they'll say they've just decided to go their separate ways. It'll all be vague. But of course, she will use it to write another album! And I almost see the album will be the following year."

Now, look — I am as unhappy about this as you are. I want Taylor to find (and keep!) love. So I had to ask if that's ever going to happen for our girl.

"Will she ever find The One? Not publicly," said Mikki.

"I think she has had really important relationships, but it's not been public. It doesn't serve her to have her private life be public. It's a performance. It's part of her brand. It's part of her creation of 'Taylor Swift' to be putting on this performance 24/7.

"But I think she has a private life that stays very private, and I don't think the two will actually really merge."

Even though the Eras Tour only *just* ended, Mikki does see her getting back on stage in 2025. "Maybe an awards show or something," she said. "I know that she's not doing the Super Bowl. I know someone else is doing that, but I just see her doing another big performance. Not sure exactly what it is though."

What's going on with the royals?

"I see the royal family having a moment of being exposed," said Mikki — very on brand for 2025, apparently.

"I see there being this real recognition of the smoke and mirrors of things." And she even hinted at some sort of connection to the Pope!

But, she added, it'll be something that comes out on social media — and rather than a big world-shattering reveal, it will be a "trickle", she said.

"It has something to do with who they're connected to," noting that some royal names might crop up in some of the Diddy allegations, too.

"I think it'll start to really connect the dots a little bit more."

Mikki also had some predictions about King Charles' rule.

Towards the end of the year, she said sees him becoming "too sick" to continue his role as King. And she's not convinced it will be Prince William who steps up.

"It seems like it's obvious that the crown will go to William, but for some reason it feels like it's maybe not him, which is so interesting.

"I don't know what happens, whether there's an uncle or someone else around. It is going to be a very wild year."

Things get chaotic in the US.

Well, look, I don't need to be psychic to figure out that much. But according to Mikki's predictions, it could be even wilder than we could've imagined.

"The politics next year in America is just insane, and I think a lot of other psychics have been saying that for a while," Mikki said when I asked her about what's in store for the US since ~that~ election.

"It's almost like the inauguration of Trump is stopped in its tracks. It doesn't come through. It's like something stops it. And then I saw him being arrested, which is the first time that I've seen that — but [the guides] are not giving me much more information."

We won't have to wait too long to see how this one plays out — Trump's inauguration is in the diary for January 20, which is just a couple of weeks away.

What about local politics?

We have our own election happening in Australia in 2025, so natch, I wanted to get some intel on what to expect there, too.

"I see people getting far more involved," Mikki told me. "I think people are recognising more than ever how this really, truly affects us, and so I see people getting more involved than they probably ever have been."

We've been seeing a marked shift towards more conservative values (hello, the rise of the tradwives) in other parts of the world over the past 12 months. Mikki sees this continuing and growing here in Australia, too, and flags the potential appointment of the Liberal party back into government this year.

"I think that there's going to be almost a swing back into this conservative way of being," she said.

"There may be a sense of going backwards, which will feel so scary obviously for so many people. But that's when people start to feel they need to start doing something. It really is a very revolutionary time.

"It's going to be the thing that catapults people into taking action themselves, as opposed to just sitting back and hoping change will happen."

It's not about right, left or in between, though. Mikki said there'll be a complete breaking down of the echo chambers within which we find ourselves on social media, and a bringing together of opposing views.

"It will create spaces for actual, real conversation. It's going to be really interesting."

Technology's about to have a reckoning, too.

It's no secret that there is a dark side to social media, especially when it comes to younger generations. But Mikki sees even more of a focus in 2025, on both social media and technology in general.

"Social media is going to have its own real conversation," said Mikki.

"We're in the age of Aquarius, so anything technology-wise is going to be big chat about, including the 'growing pains'. It's like social media is amazing and it has helped so many people, but we're still in such a growing pain stage. AI will be the same."

So, will AI take over the world?

Um… no. Not in 2025, anyway. But while we'll be making more leaps and bounds in that area, we need to just… chill about it, said Mikki.

"AI will be so beneficial and so helpful and so incredible, but there will be major growing pains — like with anything," she said.

"I think we forget to hold space for things to grow and for things going through growing pains. We just expect everything to be perfect straight off the bat."
