Guys, a huge royal secret has just been revealed and it’s likely to BLOW YOUR MIND.

Are you sitting down? OK, it turns out Princess Diana was exactly the same height as Prince Charles.

Yep, according to Wikipedia, Charles is 178cm tall and the people’s princess was also 178cm.

However, in pretty much every single photo of them together, Charles is towering over Diana and looks about a head taller than her.

The world’s greatest conspiracy to date was unveiled by Twitter user Philip N Cohen, who originally posted an image of a stamp featuring the royal couple, with the caption, ‘They were the same height’.

Cohen copped a bit of flak for the tweet with people arguing that “rules of photographic composition, philatelia, ergonomics, or royal succession somehow required the stamp to be composed this way”.

In response, Cohen posted another tweet about the royal couple, featuring a collage of photos in which the princess looks like a shrimp beside the prince, with the exact same caption.

There’s no denying that there’s some serious height inequality going on in these photos, but no one really has a definitive answer as to why.

In most photos, Diana is either standing a step or two below Charles or she’s sitting or leaning on something, so it gives the appearance that she is shorter.

Some have argued that it’s a form of sexism, that the royal family required the Princess to look shorter than the Prince, so he would look more manly, more worthy of the throne.

While others believe they’re making a mountain out of a molehill.
