In case we needed any more proof there is a right royal rift at the moment, the Queen has announced her grandson Prince William has a new role, a week after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were stripped of theirs.
On Sunday, Kensington Palace announced that Prince William was appointed by the Queen as Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland for this year.
