How four-year-old Eliza's sign about 'gingers' earned her a hug from Prince Harry.

Redheads are accused of being soulless, they’re called names (“Fanta pants”, “Ranga”, “Matchstick”, etc.), generally taunted and ridiculed. Heck, their very ranks are slowly dwindling.

Which is why it’s more important than ever that people like Eliza Morris exist. She’s only four, but the little Brit is already arming herself against the hegemonic band of bullies, what with their cruel jibes and dominant genes.

In fact, she’s in the process of recruiting high-profile members to rally behind her cause. And it’s working.

This week, Eliza and her mum grappled with the crowds and the cold in the town of Birkenhead, Merseyside, to appeal to the visiting Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan.

As the Prince wandered past, she held a sign aloft: “#GingersUnite – I love you Harry.”

The call to arms caught the father-to-be's eye. He approached, and with her mum's permission, embraced her in a knowing hug.

According to The Daily Mail's Rebecca English, he said, "I love this! Do you love your hair? The sign is amazing!”

True words, your Royal Highness.
