The winners of the 2011 season of The Block have just announced they’re having a baby.
This month, Polly and Warwick ‘Waz’ Jones told Woman’s Day that they are expecting their first child. The former contestants won $115, 000 when they were on The Block four years ago, and are excited for this next chapter in their lives.
When they found out they were expecting, it was Waz who wanted to be the first to know.
"Polly did the test and I said 'don't you look at it, I'll look at it' - and these two pink lines were staring straight at me. It was awesome," Waz told the magazine.
Polly's father is an IVF doctor so the 28-year-old said she was lucky to have him around during this time. The couple also revealed that they won't be finding out the gender of their baby until it's born.
The couple from the fourth season of The Block are also the fourth former contestant couple to announce that they're expecting. Alisa Ayers, Lara and Brad Cranfield and Bec and George Douros are the other previous contestants who have offspring on the way.
31-year-old Waz told Woman's Day that Polly was 'born to be a mum' and that she was amazing with children.
The happy couple tweeted about their magazine announcement, saying it was their 'latest adventure'.
