Call me old-fashioned but if there's one place I can't imagine most people want to give birth, it's on a stadium floor, in the middle of a concert.
To be fair, though, it might not exactly have been in the birth plan for one new Sydney mum, who went into labour mid-way through Pink's show at Sydney's Moore Park Stadium on Friday night. (Although, getting a shoutout and some words of encouragement from your favourite singer while you push out a baby — that's pretty epic.)
Watch: Pink preps for her Australia tour. Post continues below.
Singer Pink kicked off the Australian leg of her Summer Carnival Tour on Friday, February 9, in Sydney, and the opening show was made all the more memorable when she stopped mid-tune, about 40 minutes in.
"We need a medic! Somebody's having a baby?" the performer said, after being alerted to a woman going into labour near the front row.
A second call for help saw the three-time Grammy award winner stop the show again. "I've got to stop, I'm a mum," told fans. "I will 'mum' ALL of you."
The dramatic event was captured by many in the crowd, who quickly shared it on social media (because it's 2024 and that's what we... do, right?).

After congratulating the mum-to-be, Pink — who's a mum to daughter Willow, 12, and son Jameson, six — called out, "Is it Alecia or Alex being born right now?" referencing her own name, Alecia Beth Moore.
