Adelaide Crows coach Phil Walsh‘s family has taken a major step in moving forward after the father was allegedly murdered one year ago, selling the home where the tragedy occurred.

The property where the 55-year-old was allegedly stabbed to death by his son, Cy, has been listed for sale by McCammon Real Estate.

The four bedroom house is described as a “stunning family residence” offering a “lifestyle like no other” and is a short stroll from beaches, schools and the Glenelg shopping district.

It's advertised between $1.175 million and $1.25 million.

The house is where Walsh was living with his wife Meredith when he died from multiple stab wounds on July 3 last year.

She also suffered a non-life threatening injury to her leg.

The couple's youngest, Quinn, 23, was attending a summer camp in the US when the attack occurred.

Cy Walsh, was arrested soon after and charged with his father's murder.

The 27-year-old pleaded not guilty on the grounds of mental incompetence in December and is currently living in a psychiatric facility.

He was due to appear in court earlier this month, but will now face Supreme Court on July 29
