A Reddit user was on the receiving end of one of the most brutal notes to ever be left on the windshield of a car.
After returning to their Jeep, which someone had rear-ended, Hunter found the offending note.
“I’m leaving this note because I accidentally backed into your car and some lady is watching me.
“I want to make her think I’m leaving you my insurance information when really I don’t care,” the note read.
The note added that the driver was in no mood for an apology.
“Good luck and I’m not sorry about the huge dent.”
The card is signed by ‘Just some a**hole’.
Surprisingly, it's not the first time someone has pretended to be writing out their details as onlookers watch on. In May this year, a driver in the US returned to his car to find a similar note brandished on his windscreen.
“Yo I hit your car. I’m leaving this note 'cause someone’s watching…They’re still looking… OK I’m good. My bad. Peace," the note read. (Post continues after gallery.)
Talking to The New York Post, student Thomas Callow said he saw the note immediately after walking out of an exam.
“I forgot to pay the meter and left it there for two hours, so I thought it was a parking ticket,” he explained.
However, he had quite a light-hearted response to the entire ordeal.
On Twitter, Callow wrote that he was "not even mad about the scratches," and instead, it was "hands down the funniest thing that has ever happened to [him].”
Within a week, his tweet was “liked” more than 68,000 times and also retweeted more than 40,000 times.
