All the Only Murders in the Building theories for season 3 in one place.

Our favourite true crime podcasters are back again and yes, they are investigating yet another murder. 

In the third season of Only Murders in the Building, we see the return of Mabel (Selena Gomez), Charles (Steve Martin) and Oliver (Martin Short) who are on a quest to find out who is responsible for the death of Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd) — the narcissistic star of Oliver's Broadway play Death Rattle.

We're just a few episodes in and there have already been so many twists and turns, our heads are spinning. So, we're left wondering... whodunnit? 

Here are all our theories on who the killer could be for Only Murders in the Building. 

Is Loretta the killer in Only Murders in the Building season 3?

Loretta, played by Meryl Streep, is definitely a very suspicious character. But she's not in the frame for murder - yet.

As we know, Loretta was struggling to make her mark as an actor before she landed her role in Death Rattle. Then, just as her star was beginning to rise, Ben stepped in and demanded she be fired. 

Who wouldn't want to get their revenge? 

However, if previous seasons of OMITB are anything to go by, the murderer is not going to be this obvious. 

Dickie (Jeremy Shamos), Ben's brother and former manager, is another suspicious new face in the building. Could there have been bad blood between the siblings? It's definitely a little suss just how quick Dickie was to offer to help Loretta network and secure new roles. 

But back to Loretta. 

Following her and Oliver's date in episode 5, we've come around again to the idea that it might be her who is behind Ben's murder. But is Loretta being the killer just... too easy? 

She is pretty vocal about how much she despises Ben, and it's easy to assume that the killer would not want to bring attention to themself and their connection with the victim.  

Is Kimber the killer in Only Murders in the Building season 3?

Kimber (Ashley Park) seems to be the most obvious suspect so far.... meaning she is definitely not the murderer. 

Considering OMITB loves to give us a major plot twist, it's unlikely they'd make it this obvious.

We've also learnt that Kimber was relying on Ben to promote her anti-ageing cream - why would she kill her biggest supporter? Charles even said himself it was unlikely the killer would be a woman again after the conclusions of season one and two. Still, that could be just another massive red herring. 

Is Mabel, Charles or Oliver the killer in Only Murders in the Building season 3?

Let's return to season one of the Disney+ series, back to a time when everything was uncertain and Mabel, Charles or Oliver all had the potential to be psychopathic murderers. 

They, of course, were not — but that hasn't stopped us from wondering "what if"... 

Now, just so we're clear, we're not SURE who the murderer is this season, we only know that the answer will leave us stunned. 

And wouldn't it be just so astonishing if it was one of our core three who did the unthinkable?

Something to think about, for sure... 

Is Tobert the killer in Only Murders in the Building season 3?

Tobert (Jesse Williams) was missing in action in the latest episode, so we're not exactly sure where we stand when it comes to this mysterious filmmaker. 

Perhaps he needed a good, juicy story and thought Ben's murder would be just that. 

We're not the only ones considering Tobert as a potential murderer. 

As one Reddit user pointed out, there is one scene in particular that shows Tobert's head in line with horns that make him look like a devil. Major clue?

Is Gregg the killer in Only Murders in the Building season 3?

Gregg Rivera (Adrian Martinez) may be a lot of things, including a kidnapper (he threatened to torture Charles and Mabel to find Ben's killer) but is he a murderer?

Gregg collected merchandise for Ben's work and quickly became an obsessed fan. 

We're not convinced he is behind the death of his idol, but we're also not ruling anything out at this stage.
