Excuse us while we wipe away some tears over here. Procter & Gamble’s touching new ad debuted ahead of the Sochi Olympics, and it hammers home pretty much all the most meaningful themes surrounding love and motherhood.
The destined-to-go-viral vid follows a set of winter Olympians through life, from their humble beginnings stumbling around in nappies, to all the bumps, bruises, injuries and tears along the road to ultimate success in their relative sports. And who’s there all along, unwaveringly, to guide these future stars through their challenges — always with encouraging words and a loving, healing touch? Well it’s mom, of course. (Who else?)
The moving clip ends with the text, “For teaching us that falling only makes us stronger… thank you, mum.”
