Roxy Jacenko's frosty response on the Today Show over her jailed husband's prison fight.

Jailed investment banker Oliver Curtis was reportedly placed into lockdown after an altercation with fellow inmates at Cooma Correctional Centre last month.

According to The Daily Telegraph, the 31-year-old husband of PR mogul Roxy Jacenko was involved in an argument that saw him confined to his cell for 24 hours.

A source at the minimum security prison told the outlet Curtis squared up to an inmate that was ‘ranting at him’.

“Another inmate stepped in to calm things down before all three of them were locked down in their cells for 24 hours as a warning,” the source said.

The facility confirmed that the fight occurred, and said no one was injured.

His wife of five years Roxy Jacenko this morning played down the incident when she was pressed on the issue in an interview on Channel Nine’s Today Extra.

“I mean, who doesn’t have altercations?” Jacenko said laughing, “I know I’ve had a few of them… But, you know, in life people argue, people have issues.”

“Yes, yes, yes, yes,” Jacenko said, nodding her head vigorously.

Curtis was convicted of conspiracy to commit insider trading in June 2016, after he profited $1.433 million from confidential information supplied to him by a friend.

During the high-profile case, the court heard Curtis had made 45 trades based on price-sensitive information from former Orion Asset Management employee John Hartman between May 2007 and June 2008.

He was sentenced to two years in prison, to be released after one with a good behaviour bond.

Speaking to Mamamia last month, Jacenko said Curtis' imprisonment has been incredibly difficult for their children, Pixie, 5, and Hunter, 3.

While she took her little boy to visit his father behind bars, she's chosen no to do the same with her daughter.

“She’s five, she understands separation - to have taken her into that environment and then have had to go, 'No' [he can't come home]...," she told Mia Freedman on No Filter.

“As a mother, if you have children you have an obligation. I would forgo my own happiness for my children's happiness. If I had a choice, I probably would have done things very differently...I wouldn’t have had children until this situation was sorted out because it’s not right.”
