Erin Foster's daughter is named Noa.

We're all familiar with Noah from the show, but did you know that the show's creator, Erin Foster — whom the show is based on — named her own daughter, Noa? And while it may be hard to believe, it was actually a huge coincidence.

The reason Erin named her daughter Noa was based on the Jewish tradition of naming your baby with the same letter as the name of someone who has passed away. And Erin and her husband, Simon, decided to name their child after Simon's grandfather and Erin's grandmother.

"So Nita and Naum both passed away the year that we conceived Noa and in Jewish tradition you name your baby with the same first name as someone who's passed away," she explained on her podcast.

"So all these things lined up for her to be Noa."

During the segment, Erin also told a bittersweet story of how she had the opportunity to tell her grandma about her pregnancy, just hours before she passed away.

"So we FaceTime Ayna in the car and we say, we want to let you know that we're pregnant. She is beside herself. She's crying. She's so happy for us, " Erin explained.

"She died that night. She f***ing died that night. We told her six hours before and then she let go."

Sarah Foster did wear a wedding dress to Erin Foster's wedding.

One of the funniest scenes between the two sisters in season two takes place when the family goes wedding dress shopping with Morgan.

In true Joanne form, she comes out wearing a wedding dress during the try-on, to which Morgan is mortified.

"I thought it was funny," Joanne says in the scene.

And, to make the scene even better, it's actually based in some sort of reality.

Just before Erin Foster got married in real life, she revealed to People that her sister Sara would be breaking one of the biggest wedding taboos — wearing white to someone else's wedding.

Sara chose a stunning white Monique Lhuillier dress for the occasion, which Erin herself described as looking like "a wedding dress." But unlike the reaction in the show, Erin was completely fine with it.

"I'm not that big of a monster," Sara said.

The dress Morgan tries on looks identical to Justine Lupe's real wedding dress.

Here's another delightfully cheeky detail: when Morgan tries on her first wedding dress in the show, it looks suspiciously identical to what Justine Lupe (who plays Morgan) wore to her own real-life wedding.

Justine married Tyson Mason in February, wearing a gorgeous ivory satin, floor-length slip dress — the exact same style (or very similar) to what Morgan tries on in the show.

And the show absolutely roasts the dress choice.

"It has a pyjama feel," Joanne says.

"Did you guys see the panty lines? They were really really obvious," her dad adds, because apparently no one in this family has a filter.

So essentially, the writers decided to use Justine's actual wedding dress in the show... and then had the entire family mock it mercilessly. And we're living for this level of behind-the-scenes cheekiness.

The Jen Meyer necklace.

Here's a fun little detail that eagle-eyed fans might have missed: when Noah gifts Joanne that name tag necklace in the show — yes, the awkward regift situation where he gives her the same present he gave his ex-girlfriend, just with a different name engraved — it's actually from real-life jewellery designer Jen Meyer.

What makes this even more delightful is that in real life, the Foster sisters are best friends with Jen Meyer. She's been a guest on their podcast, and frequently supports their clothing brand, Favourite Daughter, online.

It's one of those lovely little nods that shows how the creators wove their real friendships into the fabric of the show. Plus, it makes that cringey regifting moment even funnier when you know it's featuring jewellery from their actual mate.

Jackie Tohn and Joe Gillete are dating in real life.

If you're a fan of Nobody Wants This, you've no doubt noticed that Adam Brody's real-life wife and Gossip Girl icon, Leighton Meester featured in season two as Joanne's middle school nemesis and insufferable influencer, Abby Loves Smoothies.

But, surprise surprise, they're not the only couple in the cast. Jackie Tohn, who plays Esther on the show, is actually dating Joe Gillette, who plays Gabe in season two.

The pair have been together since late 2021, so whilst we're all watching the on-screen romantic drama unfold between Noah and Joanne, there's been real-life romance brewing behind the scenes between two other cast members this whole time.

Justine Lupe and Kristen Bell's are real-life besties.

Now, Justine Lupe and Kristen Bell may play sisters in the show, but it seems the two have just as close a relationship off-screen.

In a recent appearance on The Armchair Expert podcast, Justine Lupe detailed a set of hilarious pranks she played on Kristen Bell over several days leading up to April Fools while they were on set. Because are you really best friends if you haven't pulled an elaborate prank on each other?

What started as a seemingly innocent prank quickly spiralled into something much more elaborate. Justine began by convincing Kristen that there was a new wellness trend sweeping social media — people drinking their own urine for health benefits. To really sell the lie, she even pretended to drink her own urine in front of Kristen.

But Justine didn't stop there. Committed to the bit in a way that's both impressive and slightly concerning, she took things to the next level by actually gifting Kristen three jars of what appeared to be urine (don't worry — it was fake).

"She said, 'April Fools.' And it was April 1," Bell said. "It was four or five weeks worth of material."

"The slow burn prank — it's the first time I've ever done it, and I can't tell you how satisfying [it was]," Lupe said.

Talk about besties. Urine will bond you for life.
