Oh, we’re just fine. Just dandy. In fact, we’re totally over it and we’re moving on with our lives, safe in the knowledge that Nikki will be back on our screens in no time as the next Bachelorette.

Wait, what? She said she doesn’t want to do that? BRB, grabbing a large tub of Ben & Jerry’s and hiding in our bed for the next three days.

Appearing on Studio 10, Nikki responded to the question she's been asked approximately one zillion times since the news broke that she hadn't won Richie's heart: will you be our new Bachelorette?

"I feel like I'm not in the right head or heart space to be able to truly answer that question," she said.

"On top of that, I know that’s a year from now and I feel like if I focus so far ahead that I might not be open to finding my person before then."

Ugh, Nikki. Why are you so wise?

But she wasn't done then...she reinforced the idea by saying that her answer would be a very harsh "NO WAY" if she was to be asked at this very moment.

"It's just too raw," she admitted.
