Just three months after Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban filed for divorce, the pair have officially finalised it. The actor and musician, who share two daughters — Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15 — were married for 19 years.
TMZ reports that a Tennessee judge signed off on the paperwork on Tuesday, making the former couple, both 58, legally single. The outlet reports the documents cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for their parting.
According to People, both Kidman and Urban have agreed to waive all child and spousal support rights, and each person will pay their own legal fees related to the separation.
An interesting stipulation is that both parents are required to "behave with each other and each child so as to provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with the child even though they are divorced."
Perhaps another way to phrase conscious uncoupling?
It continues, "They will not speak badly of each other or the members of the family of the other parent. They will encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families."
Kidman will have her daughters for most of the year, looking after them for 306 days to Urban's 59 days. They'll spend every second weekend with their father.
Both parents will continue to make joint decisions for the children moving forward.
