Kidman shared pics of her summer with her family in the Northern Hemisphere.

"Summer memories, now back to school," the actress wrote on Instagram.

In the happy snaps, Kidman can be seen diving into crystal-clear blue water in one video, followed by a blurry snap of her daughters and family jumping in with her.

Kidman was also seen sporting her gorgeous natural curls as she gave her daughters a hug. Kidman also cosies up with her sister Antonia on the same balcony, as the sun sets over the ocean behind them.

A source close to the family told People the mother-daughter trio have been joined at the hip all summer while Urban has been away on tour.

"Nicole and her daughters have been inseparable, spending time together bonding," the insider said. "Now the focus is back to school in Nashville, where Nic has been getting the girls ready for the new year."

"It's also been very important to Nicole that she and her daughters spend time with her sister and cousins," the source told People.

"Nicole has made it a priority to get them together as much as possible, bringing her sister and her family to Nashville for Thanksgiving, going to Sydney for Christmas and going on holiday this summer together." Kidman shares her two daughters with Urban and has two adopted children, Isabella and Connor, from her marriage to Tom Cruise.

How did Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban meet?

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman met in January 2005 at the G'Day USA gala, which honours Australians in Los Angeles. As Kidman recalled, Urban wasn't all that into her... at first.

"I remember thinking, I had such a crush on him, and he wasn't interested in me," Kidman told Ellen DeGeneres in 2017.

"It's true! He didn't call me for four months."

Urban later shared it wasn't disinterest that stopped him from calling, it was nerves.

"Somebody had given me her number, and I had it in my pocket for a while. I kept looking at it thinking, 'If I call this number, she's going to answer. I don't know what [to] say'," the singer said to Interview in 2018.

"I wasn’t in a very healthy place in my life. I'd never have thought she’d see anything in a guy like me," he continued.

"But at some point, I plucked up the courage to call those numbers, and she answered, and we started talking and we talked and talked and talked and talked and it was effortless."

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban got married in Australia.

And thank god he called.

Just one year later, on June 25, 2006, Kidman and Urban got married at the Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel, in Manly, Sydney.

Russell Crowe, Baz Luhrmann and Naomi Watts were among the 200+ guests in attendance, as well as Hugh Jackman and Crowded House singer Neil Finn who performed at the reception.

Speaking to Elle in 2014, Kidman explained that getting married less than a year into their relationship felt right.

"I'm spontaneous," she said. "I jump in. I kind of like getting married and then getting to know each other. I know that it sounds incredibly strange, but to me, it's a more natural process."

While Urban shared: "[Meeting Nicole] and getting married wasn't life changing, it was life-beginning. It was literally, like, 'Okay, life starts.'"

Urban struggled with substance abuse in the early years of his marriage.

Not long after they tied the knot, the couple faced their first major challenge.

Urban, who has previously spoken about his cocaine and alcohol abuse, had two stints in rehab behind him when Kidman and his friends staged an intervention in 2006.

Soon after, he sought treatment, spending three months of their first year of marriage at a rehabilitation facility.

"I caused the implosion of my fresh marriage," Urban admitted to Rolling Stone in 2016.

"It survived, but it’s a miracle it did. I was spiritually awoken with her. I use the expression 'I was born into her,' and that’s how I feel. And for the first time in my life, I could shake off the shackles of addiction."

While Kidman said of his sobriety, "I've learned an enormous amount having a relationship with someone who is in recovery.

"I'm more than willing to walk it with him. The two of us are very committed to our relationship."

In June 2024, at the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award: A Tribute to Nicole Kidman, Urban took to the stage to share more about their relationship.

Becoming emotional, the country singer recounted his time in rehab shortly after their wedding.

"We got married in June 2006, and barely four months into our marriage, the addictions that I had done really nothing about blew our marriage to smithereens," he said.

"I went into the Betty Ford Center for three months. Four months into a marriage, and I’m in rehab for three months with no idea what was going to happen to us.

"If you want to see what love in action really looks like, give that a whirl," he continued.

"Nic pushed through every negative voice — I’m sure even some of her own — and she chose love. And here we are tonight 18 years later."

Urban said Kidman has "the capacity to love like no one I’ve ever met."

His heartfelt speech brought Kidman to tears, as she was seen in the audience wiping her eyes.

Before her marriage to Urban, Kidman had an 11-year marriage to Tom Cruise.

Speaking to UK magazine Red in 2016, she explained that after all she'd been through in that relationship, she came into her second "wanting it to last".

"When you're older, you've been through things, you've made mistakes," she said.

"So you come into it [a second marriage], still giddy, but wanting it to last."

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban expand their family.

On July 7, 2008, the couple welcomed their first child together, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban.

Sunday was Kidman's third child. She adopted two children — Isabella, 31, and Connor, 29 — with Tom Cruise after they experienced two miscarriages.

In 2011, Kidman and Urban's second daughter, Faith Margaret, was born via surrogate.

"Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret," the couple said in a joint statement, according to Reuters.

"No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier."

After the birth of her daughters, Kidman told Vogue how she wished she'd met Urban earlier and had more children before struggling with infertility.

"I wish I could have met [Keith] much earlier and had way more children with him, but I didn't," she said.

"I mean, if I could have had two more children with him, that would have been just glorious."

Sunday and Faith Kidman-Urban are now all grown up.

While the couple rarely shared photos of Sunday or Faith, the sisters quietly appeared in Kidman's TV show, Big Little Lies.

"They were in as extras in Big Little Lies, which I've never told anyone. There I am now being a big mouth," she told Ellen DeGeneres in 2018.

It was the first time the teens stepped out onto the red carpet, looking grown up in Monique Lhuillier dresses — Sunday opted for a white floral dress while Faith wore a strapless coral gown.

Joining them on the carpet was Kidman's sister, Antonia Kidman, brother-in-law Craig Marran and niece Sybella Hawley.

After receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Film Institute, Kidman joins the ranks of industry titans Meryl Streep and George Clooney, who have been similarly honoured in the past.

In October 2024, Sunday made her modelling debut for Miu Miu's Spring-Summer 2025 show in Paris, rocking a chic white dress paired with grey knee-high socks.

And she wasn't just walking — Sunday owned that runway like she's been doing it for years. Of course, Nicole was right there, being the ultimate proud mum.

Nic cheered on from the sidelines, later posting photos of her daughter's big moment with heart emojis on the fashion house's Instagram post. After the show, the fashion-forward duo headed to Miu Miu's exclusive dinner in Paris, with Sunday swapping her runway look for a navy jumper and black skirt.

It wasn't her first high-fashion event either — Sunday's been dipping her toes into the style world, even joining Nicole at the Balenciaga show last year.

In a recent interview, Kidman told Allure she's "very close" to both her girls.

"I sit on their beds and discuss the most intimate things; I get to be their guide," she said.

"If they want to tell me to be quiet, they can. I'm able to apologise to them. I'm able to stand up to them. I very much like the relationship we have. It's nice to be able to say that."

Nicole Kidman on the secret of marriage.

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar UK, 12 years after getting married, Nicole revealed that their secret to a happy marriage was to always have time for one another.

"Keith and I are very good at immediately clicking off because we have a really good life in Nashville that's very simple, quiet, and nourishing because we've made it like that," she said.

Urban also emphasised how important it is that the couple keep marriage their top priority.

"Someone said one time, 'If your marriage isn't your priority, you're not married,' and I thought, for me, that's so true," Urban said during a Country Radio Seminar Q&A session, via Daily Local.

"So as long as I keep her as a priority, everything else sort of seems to work. And when I don't keep it as a priority, it's... Jenga."

Where are Nicole and Keith Urban now?

After a successful Las Vegas residency, Keith Urban is currently on tour, playing shows throughout the United States before heading down to Australia.

Meanwhile, Kidman has continued to further her career with credits in The Perfect Couple, Babygirl, Nine Perfect Strangers, Special Ops: Lioness and Expats, as well as winning the AFI Life Achievement Award. She also spent time in Australia in recent years taking care of her mother, Janelle, who passed away in September.

In an interview with the Fresh Air podcast back in 2022, the actor shared what it was like to be closer to her mother for the first time in years.

"I'm at the place where I'm being given the chance to view the world, because of how close we are, my mum is giving me the chance to view the world through an 81-year-old woman's eyes," she said.

"That is so beneficial right now, because she's so cognisant. She has every brain faculty available, so she hasn't lost anything. She hasn't lost any memory, which is fascinating, and she's extremely bright.

She added, "She's giving me access, because she's also very direct and very honest, and so I'm getting access to the world through her eyes, my mother's eyes, so therefore, a part of me almost at 80."

The couple recently celebrated their 19th year of marriage in June 2025. Nicole posted a sweet black and white photo of the loved-up pair, simply captioned: "Happy Anniversary Baby."

In return, Keith commented a red heart.
