Nick and Vanessa Lachey welcome their third child on Christmas Eve.

Nick, 43, and Vanessa Lachey, 36, have welcomed their third child into the world, with their latest addition to their family being born on Christmas Eve.

Nick Lachey took to Instagram to share the wonderful news, posting an image of his new son’s tiny hand holding onto his wife’s fingers.

“It’s a very merry Christmas indeed,” Nick’s caption read. “We had our Christmas Miracle.”

“Phoenix Robert Lachey decided to show up early and was born on Christmas Eve.”

“Mommy, Daddy, Camden and Brooklyn love you very much!”

Nick even invented a cute hashtag for his family – #LacheyPartyOf5.

The couple also shared their pregnancy announcement on Instagram in September. The Lachey family had just moved into their new home and posted a picture of themselves standing on their new doorstep.

“We got a new crib,” was written across the image. “Now we need a new CRIB!”

“Newest Lachey arriving Spring 2017.”

Spring starts in March in the US, which means that baby Phoenix is at least two months early.
