Celebrity couple Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are officially married, and we cannot get enough of their weddings pics.
As reported by People, the ceremony was a lavish affair held at the Umaid Bhawan palace in India, which saw Priyanka don a jaw-dropping custom Ralph Lauren wedding gown – the same designer as the groom’s suit and the bridal party outfits (which included Chopra’s brother Siddharth and Jonas’ three brothers, Joe, Kevin, and Frankie, of course).
Saturday’s Western ceremony was the first of two official ceremonies for the couple, the second of which will be a traditional Hindu ceremony in a nod to Priyanka’s heritage.
The groom’s father, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr., officiated the Christian ceremony yesterday, our months after the couple were engaged in July
Taking to Instagram after the wedding, Nick shared a sweet message about the day – explaining that “respecting each other’s faith and cultures” was central to the planning, and adding that they “made it their own”.
A source previously told People: “It is super important to Priyanka to have an Indian ceremony that honours her heritage and culture, just as it’s important to also have a Western ceremony that honours Nick’s Christian upbringing,” before adding, “They are doing both.”
