Imagine a world where you will no longer need to type out the five-letter word bacon.

Imagine a world where you can react with a face palm emoji.

Imagine a world where your pregnancy announcement can be an emoji.

Guess what? That world is coming.

Insert dancing man to demonstrate excitement.

Yeah, he's one of the new ones. In order to make emojis more gender equal, emoji geniuses have added the dancing man, a groom and Mrs Clause. Which is rather lovely because, let's face it, the dancing lady, bride and Santa were getting kind of lonely.

For all those preggers out there, forget the cheesy buns in the oven photo, or baby shoes next to the adult shoes. This is how pregnancy announcements will now be done:

We also finally have a face palm emoji. FINALLY. Why did it take everyone so long to realise that we desperately need this emoji to convey our true feelings without being rude?

On a serious side note, there was a plan to release a rifle emoji. However, after both Microsoft and Apple objected (according to Buzzfeed, Apple said they won't allow the emoji on their devices), the rifle was scrapped. Thank you Microsoft and Apple.
