Mamamia's beauty roundup series is your monthly look at the products our team is loving — from the latest launches in skincare, hair and makeup to the new-to-us favourites we've fallen for.

Between what we call the 'silly season' of new product launches (August, September and October are among the busiest for brands!) and the impending Black Friday sale madness, our faces have been busy with product testing this month.

Watch: Is this the best skincare product of the year? Post continues below.

Mamamia

From the perfect summer body lotion to the Korean skincare that has us in a chokehold, you'll find our new (or new-to-us) products from the month that was below.

Let's get stuck in, starting with recommendations from me, Mamamia's Lifestyle Editor!

Revlon Colorstay Full Time™ Mascara, $26.

Obsessed with this mascara wand. Image: Supplied.

I'm fussy about mascaras; in a perfect world, I'd never wear one because my lashes would be tinted and lifted.

But that probably only happens about twice a year, so this mascara is the next best thing. It's a 'your lashes, but better' mascara that separates, defines and lengthens. If you want dramatic volume, this won't give it to you. Everyone else, enjoy!

Naturium The Glow Getter Multi-Oil Body Butter, $38.

GET ON MY BODY. Image: Supplied.

I'm not going to say this body butter is an aphrodisiac… but I think this body butter is legit an aphrodisiac.

I don't know what they've put in this delightful and very generously-sized tub, but it smells like heaven and makes your skin feel nourished and touchably soft. It's not heavy like a lot of body butters; I like to apply it to damp skin straight out of my evening shower.

Alpha-H Daily Dose Multivitamin Glow Body Serum, $34.95.

Summer skin in a tube. Image: Supplied.

If you're too lazy/prefer not to use self tan, this limited-edition illuminating glow body serum is delicious.

It has just the right amount of bronze pigment and grown up shimmer to make limbs glisten, without looking like you're covered in glitter. Plus, the formula contains hydrating hyaluronic acid and brightening niacamide + vitamin C AND it smells like a holiday treat. Yum.

NYX Fat Cheeks Juicy Plump Blush, $19.99.

My new favourite cream blush and lip stain. Image: Supplied.

This isn't your usual liquid blush, and that's why I like it. When you open the tube, you'd be forgiven for thinking this NYX blush was a lip product — the big doe-foot applicator makes swiping colour directly onto your cheeks really simple (you can also dot it onto the back of your hand before applying using your makeup brush).

For a light flush, all you need is a couple of dots on the cheek; place your first dot in line with your pupil, then blend upwards and outwards along the cheekbone for a lifted application. I've been loving the shade Peach Plunge; it's fresh and natural, not too dewy or glossy.

Fwee Pink Obsession Stay-fit Lip Tint, $24.

Me wearing the lip stain and my new CC cream. Image: Supplied.

God, I'm a sucker for this brand and their ridiculously cute lip products!

I've spoken about my love for the Blurring Pudding Pot before, but when I saw this lip tint on a recent trip to Nude Glow, I had to have it.

I'm wearing the shade Lyche Pink in that selfie above; it leaves a lovely stain on the lips and smells like candy. Pop your favourite sheer gloss or clear balm over the top and you've got yourself a lovely summer lip combo.

MCoBeauty Illuminating CC Cream, $28.

I didn't want to like this. Image: Supplied.

While browsing the beauty aisles at the chemist, I picked this product up as a bit of a joke. It's one of those 'skin-adjusting' products that starts out white, then is meant to adapt to your skin tone as you apply it.

Well, the joke was on me, because I love how this CC cream makes my skin look. The blurring finish delivers the perfect amount of coverage for everyday wear, and doesn't go patchy or cakey throughout the day. I'm wearing it in the photo above!

Worth noting: I have fair skin and this product only comes in three shade variations currently.

Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads, $6.49.

Easy peasy. Image: Supplied.

Holy moly, these are so easy to use! I don't often do my own nails, but I found myself needing to remove some emergency polish the other day.

Sure, I could've bought traditional nail polish remover and cotton balls, but the idea of pre-soaked pads that smell like coconut spoke to me.

So handy and impossible to spill.

Now, onto the products my colleagues tried and loved this month.

From executive editor and You Beauty host, Leigh Campbell…

Merit Solo Shadow Sheen Eye Colour, $42.

Image: MERIT.

"It's a sheer version of their cult cream shadow; single pots of cream eyeshadow for a sheen of colour over the lids. They're very wearable, very creamy and super pretty. I've started to do a cream shadow applied with my finger, so easy."

Outdoorish Essential Outdoor Moisturiser, $46.

Image: Outdoorish.

"I've got all the bug sprays, but this is hydrating, delicious skincare. Even if I was inside all day long, I'd happily apply this like a regular body moisturiser. For when you're outside, you then don't have to apply a hideous bug spray over the top. It smells like citrus and lemon myrtle. It's the smartest thing to launch, ever."

From You Beauty host, Kelly McCarren…

Natasha Denona HY-Glam Foundation, $94.

Image: Supplied.

"This foundation is special, and upon first application, I was super impressed by how it melted into my skin. I LOVE the finish. It's blurred but dewy, and super flexible, which means it didn't settle into my lines the way a lot of foundations do."

"It's really lightweight, luminous, and the most comfortable foundation because it honestly feels like you've got nothing on. I would put this in my top three to five foundations, read my full Natasha Denona foundation review here."

Bubble Cosmic Silk Hydrating Milky Toner, $28.

Image: Priceline.

"Milky toners have been having a huge moment. This is my favourite one I've tried. I love the delivery method because I hate having to open things and pour them into my hands. You twist the lid and shake it into your hands. So glowy, hydrating, nourishing, plumping — everything."

From beauty writer, Juna Xu…

Avajar Perfect V Lifting Premium Plus Mask, $6.50.

Image: Supplied.

"I know the SKIMS chin strap isn't Korean, but it's everywhere online — and honestly, you can get the same results for a fraction of the price with this $6.50 K-Beauty mask."

"Unlike most fabric masks, this one's infused with peptides, collagen and plant extracts to firm, lift and hydrate while the hydrogel material hugs your skin for maximum absorption. The instructions say to leave it on for three to four hours, but I actually sleep in it, and I swear it's made a difference to my jawline."

Dr. Althea Pore Refresh Grinding Cleansing Balm 50ml, $32.

Image: Supplied.

"Cleansing oils have gone global — with Ma:nyo, Anua and SKIN1004 leading the pack — but this one from Dr. Althea quietly beats them all. It's a balm-to-oil formula with a clever grinding mechanism that keeps the product fresh and completely spill-proof (a traveller's dream). It's perfect for sensitive or acne-prone skin, with Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract to control oil and Soybean Oil to maintain moisture balance."

From senior video producer, Cristina Aguilar…

Redken Acidic Bonding Shampoo and Conditioner, $55 each.

Image: Supplied.

"I recently bought these and I LOVE them. It has really changed the texture of my hair. It used to be so frizzy at the end and now it feels so soft and sleek."

Clarins Lip Perfector, $45.

Image: Supplied.

"Another recent beauty find; this in the shade Mulberry is perfect for us brown-lipped girlies and doesn't feel sticky!"

From audience intelligence manager, Laura Newman…

Laura Mercier Crème De La Crème Mini Caviar Eyeshadow Trio, $59.

Image: Supplied.

"I recently purchased this set; I often struggle with fallout when using powder eyeshadows, so I wanted to try something that's easier to apply/less messy. These are so quick to apply and beautiful. Wild Rose and Rose Meringue are my favourite shades!"

From acting deputy editor, Charlie Begg…

Balmee Original Lip Balm, $35.

Image: Supplied.

"A clear, glossy lip product is my go-to, but I usually avoid ones that are overly scented. This one recently slid across my desk and ticks all the boxes — clear (tick), unscented (double tick!) and is packed with ingredients that are actually good for you."

"It has a rich, thick consistency without feeling sticky and really hydrates my lips. I just got back from an overseas trip, and I found myself reaching for it constantly, especially while flying."
