1. The high profile guest who just pulled out of Karl Stefanovic’s wedding.

There’s only two days until Jasmine Yarbrough and Karl Stefanovic’s highly anticipated Mexican wedding this Saturday, but rumours suggest that an expected wedding guest will not be making an appearance.

Stefanovic’s billionaire best friend, James Packer, was set to watch the Today show host say ‘I do,’ but according to The Daily Telegraph he’ll have to attend his mother’s 80th birthday instead.

Apparently, Packer will be celebrating with his mum, Ros Packer, in Argentina (which is a 10 hour flight away) and while a quick stopover isn’t completely out of the question, the source says there’s no hard feelings on either side.

“While he’s disappointed he’ll miss it, James is looking forward to catching up with Karl and Jasmine after the wedding and celebrating with them at a later date,” they said.

Other prominent guests who are also expected to make an appearance include Shane Warne, model Jordan Barrett, Julie Bishop, Alan Jones, as well as his Today show colleagues, Sylvia Jeffreys and Richard Wilkins, so their wedding won’t be lacking in star potential at all.

2. Why a bikini pic has ignited an argument between Jessica Simpson and Natalie Portman.

Jessica Simpson and Natalie Portman are currently in a tiff over a magazine cover of the blonde singer dating back nearly 20 years ago in 1999.

Speaking to USA Today, the Vox Lux actress was talking about representations of women in the music industry, when she recalled the photo of Simpson.

“I remember being a teenager, and there was Jessica Simpson on the cover of a magazine saying ‘I’m a virgin’ while wearing a bikini, and I was confused. Like, I don’t know what this is trying to tell me as a woman, as a girl,” said Portman.

Later, The Dukes of Hazzard actress shared a tweet and Instagram of her response to Portman, saying she was “disappointed” by her words.

“As public figures, we both know our image is not totally in our control at all times, and that the industry we work in often tries to define us and box us in,” she wrote.

“However, I was taught to be myself and honour the different ways all women express themselves, which is why I believed then – and I believe now – that being sexy in a bikini and being proud of my body are not synonymous with having sex.”

Finally, Portman ended their disagreement by responding to Simpson with a lengthy comment left under her Instagram post.

“Thank you for your words. I completely agree with you that a woman should be allowed to dress however she likes and behave however she likes and not be judged. I only meant to say I was confused – as a girl coming of age in the public eye around the same time – by the media’s mixed messages about how girls and women were supposed to behave,” she wrote.

“I didn’t mean to shame you and I’m sorry for any hurt my words may have caused. I have nothing but respect for your talent and your voice that you use to encourage and empower women all over the globe.”

The actress also shared another apology through a series of exclusive quote on Entertainment Tonight, and said she regrets inadvertently shaming Simpson.

“It is a mistake to say anyone’s name,” she said.

“I could have made my message without naming.”

“Khloe definitely wants True to have a sibling and would love to have a big family if that’s what’s in the cards,” an ‘insider’ reportedly told the publication.

“Things are up and down with Tristan, but she would like more kids with him. That’s what she feels will make the most sense for True and their little family,” the source added.

“Khloe is completely selfless when it comes to True. She loves being a mum and having her own family. She wants to have more kids while she’s young enough and would like them to be close in age.”

4. How Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reached a custody agreement after two years of fighting.

After two years of fighting, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's custody agreement has finally been settled.

The pair made an agreement, meaning they didn't need to go to trial.

And now, the details of the agreement have been leaked.

"Angelina agreed to a deal that gives Brad joint physical and legal custody of the children," a source told Us Weekly.

According to the source, Brad will also be able to "regularly have his children overnight at his house for the first time since the divorce proceedings began".

"It was a long and difficult road but he never gave up," the source said.

Brad and Angelina share six children including their adopted children Maddox, 17, Paz, 15, and Zahara, 13. They also share three biological children – 12-year-old Shiloh and 10-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

5. Lauren Brant is expecting her second child with husband Barry Hall.

Former Hi-Five star Lauren Brant, 29, has announced she’s pregnant with her second child.

Brant, who already has 18-month-old Miller with husband Barry Hall, 41, told Who magazine, “We’re 15 weeks pregnant! We have been trying for a baby so it’s great news.”

Brant also confirmed that the couple are expecting another baby boy, and the due date is the beginning of June, 2019.

Hall, a former football player, added that he is thrilled to have another healthy baby on the way – although, admittedly he had hoped for a daughter.

“I wanted a little girl but we’re also mindful that it’s hard to have kids, so as long as it’s healthy, we’re happy,” he said.
