Move over Cousins Beach — there's another love triangle in town, and it's serving up all the swoon-worthy drama you've been craving. 

If you've been desperately refreshing your streaming apps looking for something to fill The Summer I Turned Pretty shaped hole in your heart each week, we've got excellent news. Netflix's My Life with the Walter Boys is basically the perfect remedy for your TSITP withdrawal — and season 2 is dropping soon. Very soon. 

Picture this: Jackie Howard is living her best Manhattan life when tragedy strikes, and she loses her entire family in a car accident. Suddenly, she's uprooted from the city and moves to rural Colorado to live with her mum's best friend Katherine and her massive family — which includes seven boys.

Jackie has to navigate small-town life, a completely new family dynamic, and — because this is teen drama gold — she finds herself caught between two of the Walter brothers: the brooding bad boy Cole and the sweet, reliable Alex. Sound familiar? It should. Although, let's be honest, we're all Team Cole, right? RIGHT?

By the end of season 1, relationships are tested, hearts are broken, and Jackie has to make some seriously tough choices about where she belongs and who she wants to be with. The season finale left us with more questions than answers; a classic teen drama move.

But let's be honest — the similarities are impossible to ignore, and we're absolutely here for it, because why stop at just one dramatic adolescent love triangle? 

Both shows centre around a teenage girl torn between two brothers. Jackie's caught between Cole and Alex, whilst Belly's navigating her feelings for Conrad and Jeremiah. It's the same delicious love triangle drama that keeps us coming back for more.

And rest assured, the Walter family dynamics are just as complex and heartwarming as the Fisher-Conklin crew. There's love, tension, secrets, and enough family baggage to fill a small country.

Not to mention, the LANDSCAPE. Swap Cousins Beach for the Colorado mountains, and you've got equally stunning backdrops for all that romantic angst. The heart and rhythm are remarkably similar, just with a Rocky Mountains backdrop instead of coastal vibes. 

So where do we pick up in season 2? Jackie's back in Silver Falls after spending the summer in New York, and she's got a game plan: make things right with Alex and establish some serious boundaries with Cole. Sounds simple enough, right? Wrong.

Fitting back into the Walter family chaos proves trickier than expected as Jackie navigates her still-very-complicated feelings for both brothers.

Without spoiling anything, expect more romantic drama, family secrets, and probably some seriously questionable decision-making from our favourite characters. If season 1 was any indication, season 2 is going to put us through the emotional wringer all over again.

Look, we're not saying My Life with the Walter Boys is trying to be The Summer I Turned Pretty — but we're also not not saying that. What we are saying is that if you're missing those butterflies-in-your-stomach, "who-will-she-choose" moments, this Netflix series delivers them in spades.

So grab your tissues, clear your weekend schedule, and prepare to fall down another rabbit hole of teenage romance.
