1. Mother jailed for plotting the rape of her 7-year-old daughter.
A UK mum has been sentenced to nine years jail for plotting to let a paedophile, who she met on an online dating site, rape her seven-year-old daughter.
The woman, who has not been named for legal reasons, and the would-be rapist Stuart Bailey were found guilty of conspiracy to rape a child under 13 in a UK court, The Mirror reports.
The attack was prevented when the woman’s partner found texts between the pair and reported her. These texts, admitted into the courtroom as evidence, show how the depraved plot unfolded.
Among Bailey’s texts were: “Let me do as I please”, “Does she have a short skirt?”, and “What is she wearing? Is she in school uniform?” as well as requests for the mother to “tart up” her young daughter.
The mother had sent a naked photo of her daughter and asked what she would get in return for the sex attack, to which the 54-year-old replied with sums of $330 to $500 (£200 to £300).
The lawyer defending the woman claimed she had been blackmailed by the man from Rhydyfelin, Pontypridd.
Sentencing the pair, Judge Eleri Rees said Stuart had “bullied and manipulated” the mother into drugging her child for the purpose of the assault.
“You quickly identified that she was vulnerable.”
Stuart was sentenced to 13 years jail.
2. Sydney masseur who intimately touched woman claims she consented.
A Sydney masseur claims the client he intimately touched during a massage consented to his touching by saying ‘mmm’ when he asked her if she was okay.
Anthony Theodosiou, 31, faced court on Monday accused of five counts of indecent assault and three counts of sexual assault. All charges come from a massage of a woman in Sutherland on August 7 in 2015, AAP reports.
The court heard Theodosiou regularly asked if the woman was comfortable with what he was doing and she replied ‘mmm’.
