Mum posts photo of her toddler standing on same spot where Lane Graves was taken by alligator one hour later.

A young boy standing ankle deep in water in the Seven Seas Lagoon at Disney World Orlando.

The toddler, dressed in board shorts waded through the magical lagoon watched over by his mother.

Chillingly this little boy is standing in the exact spot that little Lane Graves was then taken less than an hour later.

Jennifer Venditti, of Massachusetts has shared the pictures of her son Channing, 3, at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Orlando. They were taken at around 8pm to 8.30pm on Tuesday night.

At 9pm another family, the Graves family, on holiday from Elkhorn, Nebraska,  arrived at the beach and their toddler began to play as they watched a movie under the summer twilight.

But tragically Lane Graves was grabbed by an alligator with his parents Matthew and Melissa and older sister watching on.

His father had attempted to save his son after the alligator snatched him, but he could not save his son from the animal's grasp. It is believed Lane drowned after begin taken.

Ms Venditti, a mother-of-three posted the pictures to stop the blame game that has begun about the death of Lane.

She writes with a hashtag "Judge less pray more"

"I've already seen posts criticizing the parents." she says "I can assure you alligators were not on my mind at all when Channing was in the water. It's a tiny beach, surrounded by pools, water slides, a restaurant and a fire pit. I can't conceive that an alligator would be in such a busy, small space."

The mother and son had spent the day at the fun park and enjoying the resort. Her son, Channing  and been a "last minute fill-in" after his big sister decided she didn't want to go on a mother and daughter weekend Ms Venditti had planned.

Unperturbed Ms Venditti wrote on Facebook she took her youngest instead.

She told The Boston Herald that her son was sleepy so they skipped the movie on the beach, “Zootopia,” and went back to their room. It was only half an hour later she heard the commotion.

“I was just shocked. Complete disbelief,” she said.

“It could have been any one of ours. But mine in particular, because we were just there. I can’t even believe it,” she said.

"We were there an hour before this happened. The alligator was probably near us, sitting and waiting for prey.”

In her post she said that she now wonders whether she had spoken to the mother of Lane, whether their two sons had played together that day.

She wrote:

"PRAY, PRAY so hard for the family & for those who witnessed this tragic event. I took these pics at the exact spot this happened betw 8 & 830, the incident happened at 9. Helicopters flew overhead til 1 am and were back around dawn. I can't imagine anyone could sleep knowing that the helicopter was searching for a missing child taken by an alligator. I can't help but wonder if we played with him, did I talk to his Mom?? How does one go home without your baby in tow?"

Earlier she posted "Thankful I spent every waking minute of this beautiful day with my #3!"

Our thoughts are with the family of Lane Graves.
