The MTV Video Music Awards are here again, and if last year taught us anything, it's that this ceremony delivers the kind of chaotic, brilliant, utterly unpredictable moments that we desperately need. 

From Sabrina Carpenter's otherworldly alien kiss to Chappell Roan serving medieval warrior realness whilst putting a photographer in their place, it was a wild, wild ride. 

Well, buckle up, because 2025 is shaping up to be just as spectacular.

This year's performer roster reads like a who's who of music royalty. We're getting the legendary Mariah Carey receiving the Video Vanguard Award as well as Ricky Martin taking home the first-ever Latin Icon Award. 

The lineup also includes Lady Gaga, Post Malone, Sabrina Carpenter (with fewer aliens this time???), Doja Cat, Conan Gray, Jelly Roll, Tate McRae, J Balvin, DJ Snake, Justin Quiles, and Lenny Tavárez. 

But before the performances begin, all eyes will be on the red carpet, where fashion risks are not just encouraged, they're mandatory.
