Sophia and Jackson have again topped the baby names list of 2016, according to US website BabyCenter.
Oliver and Elijah were new contenders to the top 10 boys’ list, sneaking in at number nine and 10.
Riley, Aria and Charlotte were also new to the top 10 – at seven, eight and 10 respectively on the girls’ list.
Lily just fell out of the top 10, placing at 11 while Jacob and Logan also dropped out of the top 10 for boys.
For girls, gender-neutral Peyton made the biggest leap of the year, shooting up 43 spots on the girls chart to land at 41, and Kylie fell 20 places – sliding down to 66. (Post continues after gallery.)

The biggest winner for boys was Mateo, which flew up 30 places and Parker was the biggest loser plummeting 19 spots to 89.
BabyCenter says it provides a “true measure” of popularity by compiling their list from a huge database of names given to babies this year.
Their list “combines names that have different spellings but sound the same” – like Sophia and Sofia, or Jackson and Jaxon.
