Kenna Gibbons wants you to know exactly what happened in the Mormon TikTok sex scandal.

If you couldn't look away from ~that~ Mormon swinging scandal of 2022 (not to mention the hit reality series that followed), then buckle up — because one of the original people involved in the drama has served some piping hot tea.

And no, we're not talking about Taylor Frankie Paul, who was one of the original members of the group of Utah-based influencers calling themselves MomTok, and the first to tell the world about the "soft swinging" that went down between the influencer couples.

Kenna Gibbons has shared a five-part video series about the drama, sharing her side of the story — and claiming she wanted no part in the sexy antics.

Kenna, who didn't appear in the first season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, has detailed her involvement in what she describes as two "soft swinging" sessions (that is, swapping partners without full intimacy) with two couples.

In the videos, she referred to them as "Couple One" and "Couple Two", who fans have speculated are Taylor Frankie Paul and her now-ex Tate Paul, as well as Miranda and Chase McWhorter.

According to Kenna, the first encounter happened during a group cabin getaway, where they "switched partners" for soft swinging.

"The first night was a normal night. And then night number two is when the first of two swinging instances happened," she said.

"

"I don't know whose room we were in, but I remember being in there with my ex, and I know we were making out. I know that Couple One comes in, and we did switch partners. Soft swinging happened."

However, Kenna says she grew uneasy, suspecting her then-husband Brayden Rowley was forming an emotional bond with one of the women involved in the swinging scandal.

"He said, 'I talked to her after the cabin and we both recognise that we get along really well and feelings could grow, and we both don't want to go down that route, because we're happy in our marriages,'" she recalled.

A couple of weeks later, Kenna claimed that the second and final incident of soft swinging occurred.

Upon arriving home, the influencer recalled turning to her then-husband and saying "If this is what you want, we can divorce now, because I won't participate any longer. I don't feel right; I was so ashamed of my decisions."

That same week, Kenna alleged she told the wife of 'Couple One' that she'd decided to stop swinging.

At this point, Kenna said her "marriage took a turn" and her then-husband began to gaslight her. When she finally confronted him about her suspicions, he initially denied the affair. But eventually the truth came out.

"They'd been meeting up, they had told each other that they loved one another and that they had plans to leave their spouses," she said.

"I remember telling him, 'I'm done, I'm going home.' And I think that this moment was so significant because physical affairs I had worked through… but it's easier to work through than the emotional."

But if there's one thing we know about Taylor Frankie Paul, it's that she is gonna say what she's gonna say. And the influencer-turned-reality star, who now has five million followers on TikTok, was having approximately none of it.

She responded swiftly, claiming that Kenna "never asked to stop" swinging and was, in fact, one of the instigators of the arrangement.

"The amount of times SHE wanted to play," Taylor wrote alongside footage of the two women kissing, and a screenshot of a text message, seemingly from Kenna, that read: "I'm drunk and I wish I was kissing you."

Kenna then responded to Taylor, claiming that her ex-partner had sent the text message without her knowledge.

Taylor has since doubled down.

"She never said she wanted to stop," the influencer claimed. "My ex brought us together and said he wanted to stop. And that has been my story for two years now."

She also touched on the "emotional affair" Kenna had spoken about.

"I've already admitted and apologised for my part. I knew I was a villain in that story as well, and I've held a lot of guilt for that," she said.

The Mormon swinging scandal erupted in 2022 when Taylor Frankie Paul announced her divorce, citing "soft swinging" amongst her group of Mormon friends as the catalyst.

On a viral live stream, Taylor admitted she broke the group's "rules" by going all the way with another husband. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (to which… all the soft swingers in this story belong) officially opposes both divorce and swinging, by the way.

Her confession implicated multiple couples, leading to at least two other divorces and a flood of speculation about the Mormon Church.

Ultimately, it led to the hit show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which is currently filming its second season. And, boy, are they going to have a lot to talk about when it hits screens.
