The 6 biggest takeaways from Molly-Mae Hague's new docuseries.

Straight after Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague split with Tommy Fury (a breakup that basically caused a tectonic shift in the reality TV world), she made it clear she wouldn't be talking about it. A month after the shock breakup, Molly-Mae told her YouTube subscribers that she'd 'never share the details' of what happened.

Well… not until now.

The beloved influencer, style icon, business mogul and reality star has quickly changed her tune.

In the first half of her six-part Amazon Prime documentary Behind It All, she has shared intimate details about her split from the professional boxer.

The series explores how Fury's complicated relationship with alcohol contributed to their breakup, alongside Molly-Mae's journey of becoming a single mother to their daughter Bambi.

The documentary takes place during the launch of her fashion brand Maebe, which she admits she wished Tommy could have been part of.

In fact, the series was initially going to be documenting the couple planning their wedding before their sudden split changed the show's focus.

The 25-year-old's first foray into making her own docuseries comes as Fury has given his first tell-all interview where he opened up about his alcoholism while denying the cheating allegations that have plagued the split in the tabloids.

"All I've been seeing for the past six months is 'Cheater!', 'He slept with me!', 'He slept with this girl, he slept with that girl!' Complete and utter b******s," Tommy told Mens Health.

"We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol and I couldn't be the partner that I wanted to be any more. It kills me to say it, but I couldn't."

However, in the documentary, Molly-Mae makes it clear she's coming to terms with things she "didn't know" Tommy was getting up to when he was away.

The remaining three episodes are scheduled for release in 2025. Until then, we've rounded up the biggest revelations shared in Molly-Mae: Behind It All.

Molly-Mae explained why she suddenly announced their split on Instagram.

Hague addressed why she announced the split in August 2024, which came as a shock to her followers as it was clear that it wasn't a joint statement.

"Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this," the Instagram Story read.

"After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end."

Molly-Mae admitted that she had been thinking about ending their relationship for a long time but knew she had to make an announcement so that it would feel more real.

"It was a build-up and there were a lot of times where it was a last chance situation [for Fury]. There's only so much that you can take," she said in the new documentary.

"I decided that I don't have another night left in me, lying in bed, being upset. I thought, 'I'm not doing this anymore.'

"It was a situation where I thought, 'If I don't post this statement, I'm not going to do this. I am not going to walk away unless I put this out.' It needed to happen."

Molly-Mae on the underlying issue in her relationship with Tommy Fury.

Tommy's growing dependency on alcohol was the main factor behind their breakup. Molly-Mae opened up about how her mother's abuse of alcohol growing up had led to her being triggered by that pattern of behaviour.

"I never ever wanted to be with someone that drank because my mum had a period of time in her life where she struggled because her marriage of 25 years had just ended and she turned to drink more than she should have," she said.

"I was only about 14 or 15 when that happened and I saw my mum in some states."

She said that Tommy's drinking was leading to larger problems in their relationship.

"He's never had an alcohol problem, it's just that alcohol caused problems for us. It got to a point where I wasn't really looking forward to anything because alcohol affected it so much," she told her mother, Debbie.

Her mum went on to say that Tommy's drinking would lead to incidents, admitting she could "only cite a couple of examples where he's had some alcohol and it's not led to anything disastrous."

To this, Molly-Mae replied "I actually don't know any."

Tommy's partying ways were at odds with the partner she wanted. "He wanted a family life but also have the life of a 25-year-old boy with no responsibilities, and the two don't go hand-in-hand," she told her sister, Zoe.

"I'm not breaking up with him because I don't love him anymore, I'm breaking up with him because he hasn't given me a single other choice."

A moment at her sister Zoe's wedding was a tipping point.

During a discussion with her mum, Molly-Mae became emotional when discussing an incident with Tommy on her sister Zoe's wedding day, which they attended with their daughter Bambi.

"At my sister's wedding, I literally pleaded with Tommy. I begged with him to not drink. And… it's just really sad," she recalled.

"I don't know why I'm crying now. It's just so sad. It just affected me. That's why my relationship with alcohol is so damaged."

Tommy Fury didn't always get along with Molly-Mae's sister, Zoe.

There's a sense of tension running throughout the three episodes between Tommy and Molly-Mae's protective older sister, Zoe, who is also a popular content creator.

"Mine and Tommy's relationship was very, very turbulent," Zoe admitted. "We definitely butted heads a fair few times about him going out and me being overprotective with Molly."

In another part of the series, Zoe sheds some light on the dynamics at play in their relationship. "He was great with Bambi, but he wasn't at the time being a great partner, and I think that's what she potentially couldn't see," she said.

In a car scene, Zoe spoke about there being two sides to Tommy. "You want to be with 50 per cent of Tommy, but you don't want to be with the other 50 per cent of him," she said.

"The last two months you've been happier and nicer to be around, because you've not got the stressors that come along with being with him."

Zoe's judgments of Tommy have clearly taken a toll on Molly-Mae. "I think Zoe really struggles with Tommy and I the most out of anyone in my family," she reflected. "She has heard it all now, and I have really shared it all with her, so she's so invested and sometimes cares a little bit too much."

Molly-Mae has doubts about what Tommy Fury has gotten up to behind closed doors.

Speaking with Zoe, Molly-Mae raised suspicions about some of Tommy's actions and the cheating rumours that continued to surface in the months after the split.

"Even over the last year or so, I've become so much more aware of things going on that I was so naive to for so long. I still don't think I know the full picture," she said.

"I think there's a lot I don't know."

Molly-Mae hopes that she and Tommy Fury will get back together one day.

Molly-Mae imagines a time when she and Tommy will reunite. At times throughout the series, she's on good terms with Tommy, as he FaceTimes his daughter frequently, and wishes his ex good luck on her career milestones.

"The positive part of my life right now is that me and Tommy are working on things and things are going in a more positive direction," she said.

Molly-Mae still has a lot of love for her ex-fiancé.

"I don't know what the future holds for Tommy and I but I'd be lying if I said my love just disappeared overnight," she said.

"I think at the minute, because he's trying to better himself, so he's really working on him, the good stuff outweighs the bad. He's taking time to work on himself and to make things right."

That being said, there are rocky moments in the series when Molly-Mae is forced to hang up on Tommy, or they engage in a heated discussion over text message.

But the series does end on a positive note for the couple, with a cliffhanger that will address a tabloid story that Molly-Mae and Tommy kissed on New Year's Eve.

If you're a Molly-Mae and Tommy stan, I wouldn't lose hope yet.

"I've been holding onto the hope [that] as soulmates we will always come back together," she says in the series.
