Queensland Police have located the six-year-old girl taken from Caboolture.

A young girl taken from a home at Caboolture, north of Brisbane, has been found safe and well by police.

An Amber Alert was issued on Tuesday morning for six-year-old Lilee after she was seen getting into a car with a woman and two men at a home at Lynfield Drive around 9am.

At 3.45pm police announced Lilee had been found safe and well on the Sunshine Coast, while 24-year-old woman Shannon Millikin and one of the men were speaking with police.

Police would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
