For an event that involved the founder of the app made for oversharing, we actually know very little about Miranda Kerr and Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel’s nuptials.
Speaking on a panel at Gwyneth Paltrow‘s Goop Health conference, the model has finally spilled a few details about the day – and it sound surprisingly low-key.
“Our wedding was just so joyful,” People reported Kerr saying.

But forget a mad rush to get ready – it started off in the most ‘Miranda Kerr’ way possible.
“We started the day, did yoga, then our families came over and we literally had this celebration in our backyard,” she said.
“It was incredible. It was so magical.”
The ceremony took place in a tent specially erected in the garden of their multi-million dollar Brentwood, Los Angeles home the couple bought last year.

About 40 family and friends attended the celebration, arriving in cars with tinted windows to evade the papparazzi. Guests included Kerr’s parents, brother, grandmother and her six-year-old son with ex-husband Orlando Bloom, Flynn.
US singers Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat both performed – and there was also a performance from Kerr herself.
While we’re still yet to see any pictures of the model in her dress, audio was recorded by gossip site TMZ of the 34 year old serenading Spiegel, 26, with a karaoke rendition of Shania Twain’s You’re Still The One.
Kerr said that the pair complement each other well.

“Even though it’s coming up to four years this November that we’ve been together, we still have so much to learn from each other, and we do every day,” she said.
“We see things from a different perspective, and we bring that to the table. Together, we’re so much stronger. It’s really good to have that partnership.”
