Michael Turnbull has declared which side he's taking in the Ali/Grant cheating saga.

Michael Turnbull has declared his allegiance in the alleged cheating scandal that’s engulfed fellow Bachelor in Paradise contestants Grant Kemp and Ali Oetjen. (Because we were all definitely wondering what he was thinking.)

First, a quick recap. Despite Grant and Ali’s declarations of undying love during the BIP finale, it was revealed at the end of the episode that they had split since filming ended. ‘Why?’ we asked. ‘Well…,’ Grant answered.

According to the 29-year-old American, it stemmed from a single incident during a party at his Los Angeles home.

“So, I leave my house with my friend Sabrina, to go and grab my friends and bring them back upstairs, and when we walk back inside, we come up the stairs and she is hooking up with this dude,” Grant told New Idea. “I kicked her out and he slept on my couch that night.”

Prior to Grant’s claims Ali, 32, was announced as the next Bachelorette.

Got it? Kind of? Right. Back to Michael.

The soccer player turned real estate agent, turned Bachelorette runner-up, turned Bachelor in Paradise cast member, declared very publicly via his Instagram story that he is firmly in Camp Kemp.

The 37-year-old shared a photograph of him and Grant from the show, along with the caption, “Sorry to hear about how everything ended brother. You deserve better than that and the right girl will come along.”

He hammered it home with a fist emoji, a broken heart emoji and a sticker that reads, ‘I love my brother’.

Network Ten on Tuesday told The Daily Telegraph that there are "two sides" to the story of the split, but declared Ali would not be commenting on "the misleading claims being made by other parties or the false rumours being spread".

Prior to Grant's allegations, Ali told Confidential the breakup was due to the long-distance nature of their relationship.

“My time in Fiji was so real, and I did fall so deeply in love with Grant, but unfortunately the distance got between us, so I’ll be sticking to Australian men from now on,” she said.
