Obviously this post is NSFW. (But not as NSFW as the pictures you’re usually sent on Tinder.)
It’s one of the perils of dating in the technologically obsessed 21st century. You meet someone online, on a dating site or an app. You start a conversation.
“Hey.”
“Hi.”
“How are you?”
“Good thanks! How’s it going?”
“Yeah good. Here is a picture of my genitals for your viewing pleasure.”
That’s pretty much the way it seems to go, for some unknown reason. After having your eyes soiled for the 827384th time, you swipe left, move on. Only to have the same thing thrust upon you again by the next knight- in-phallic-armour.
But one woman from New York was a bit bored by the constant barrage of unsolicited and often uninspiring dick pics. So she decided to turn them into something a bit more interesting (and far less offensive).
Iranian Canadian student Soraya Doolbaz created the Dicture Gallery.
“It’s exactly what it sounds like,” she says on her website. “Dick Pictures. But these aren’t just your regular dick pics. These are dick pics with a twist! It’s an artistic take on an otherwise alluring modern dating tactic.”
Since men are so keen to take happy snaps of their junk, Doolbaz decided to treat them to a “high-fashion” photo-shoot. She dresses them up as Policemen, and Santa Claus, and ‘Bradley Cocker.’
