A Paris Uber driver has described the night he picked up a bloodied and frightened Melissa George and took her to a police station.
In a tell-all interview on tonight’s episode of Sunday Night, the Australian actress claims that she’s trapped in France, due to a custody dispute with husband Jean-David Blanc.
George and Blanc’s marriage ended last September after a violent altercation in their Paris apartment. Both were convicted of assault after the incident, with a French court finding that they had attacked each other.

Owais Atique, the Paris Uber driver, picked George up at around 2.24am that night, after she fled her home.
Atique told Sunday Night that he almost drove away upon seeing her, believing that she was drunk. But then he noticed the bloodstains on her clothing.
The driver said he helped the Grey's Anatomy star into his Audi and she said "he hit me".
"She was crying - just crying - and saying 'I am scared, I am scared, please go...he will find me, I'm scared. I have my two babies in the apartment."

The driver did not recognise the 40-year-old as an actress and just saw her as a 'normal customer'.
George visited his parents restaurant at a later date to thank him, and he said she seemed like a 'very normal person'.
Blanc has denied attacking George and claims that he was 'forced to defend himself' against his wife.
