Woman charged with murder over fatal stabbing at Mitcham in Melbourne's east.

A 69-year-old woman will front court today, accused of stabbing to death a man at Mitcham, in Melbourne’s east.

The 73-year-old man was found dead at a property on Mitcham Road about midday on Monday.

A Mitcham woman was taken into custody and faced an out-of-sessions hearing, where she was charged with one count of murder.

She was remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
