The 50 celebrities who got Meghan Markle's exclusive jam.

Remember Meghan Markle's elusive jam that had us all (mostly me!) counting the days until its release? Well, the mystery of who received the most prestigious jar — number one out of 50 — has finally been revealed on Meghan's new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan.

If you've been living under a rock and missed the great jam saga of 2024, let me catch you up: Meghan sent just 50 jars of her (now defunct) American Riviera Orchard jam to a very select group of celebs in April.

In episode two of With Love, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex hosted the delightful Mindy Kaling over for some afternoon tea, where the two gal pals discussed the jams which were numbered 1 to 50.

So who got number 1? Meghan revealed in her Netflix series that her mother, Doria Ragland, received that honour.

Kaling was #19 on the jam list, which also included Delfina Balquier and Nacho Figueras (#10), Kelly McKee Zajfen (#3), Tracy Robbins (#17), Abigail Spencer (#6), Chrissy Teigen and John Legend (#20), Kris Jenner (#13), Garcelle Beauvais (#18) and Heather Dorak (#7).

It was reported that other celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, and Serena Williams received jam too, but it's unclear what number they were sent.

In what might be the most relatable moment of the Netflix show (there weren't many!), Mindy admitted to Meghan that she was fascinated to find out her jam number compared to everyone else.

"As a very hierarchical person, I was like, who are these other people? Does having a lower number make me more special?" Mindy recalled wondering.

Not one to just move on (me neither, babe), Mindy then "went straight to Instagram to check who the other recipients were and what numbers they received."

Meghan couldn't believe that the simple act of ranking your friends and family members with a number could ruffle some feathers. Sorry Megz, but you're numbering gifts from 1-50, people are going to feeling some feelings!

"People took it very personally, the hierarchy," Meghan said. "It was not a ranking. Just a way for me to share them."

Boring! I prefer it being a ranking and on the basis of that theory, you'd assume she likes her mum the best (just a wild guess) which means that she likes Kris Jenner more than Mindy, but she likes Mindy more than Chrissy Teigen.

Ever the diplomat, Meghan simply said that she chose the top 50 people she wanted to share her jam with.

"Anyone who got one of those 50 jars that I was making on my stove in my actual kitchen at my house, I hope they all thought like, 'I wanna share this with you,'" Markle said.

This jam holds immense power, but what did it actually taste like?

When discussing the preserve with Meghan on With Love, Meghan, Kaling mentioned that many people asked to taste it. In response, she told them "Get your own jar."

We're trying, Mindy! We are trying!

Speaking of, the series launches just as Meghan's new As Ever brand (formerly American Riviera Orchard) launched its first range of products and yes, finally, FINALLY, there's a raspberry spread "in keepsake packaging" that us normal people might actually be able to buy.

OH, HAPPY DAY.

The collection also includes herbal teas, crepe mix, shortbread butter cookies, wildflower honey, and flower sprinkles "for beautifying meals and sweet treats."

Okay, the jams aren't actually ready for sale just yet… but you can join a waiting list for when they are, with the release slated for between March and May.

And you know who is impatiently sitting on that waiting list? This eager gal!
