MCo Beauty's $3.50 Cheek and Lip Tint is the best thing you'll put in your supermarket trolley all week.

Where you can get away with it, you also want something cheap that does what it says it will.

I’ve found all of these things in what I believe will be the best thing you’ll put in your supermarket trolley this week.

The MCo Beauty Tropicool Cheek and Lip Tint.

Coming in two lovely shades, Lush Cherry and Flamingo Pink, you can find this two-in-one product at your local Woolies. Even better, it’s cheap as chips at $3.50 (down from a whopping… $5).

We Just Found The Goldilocks Of All Hair Smoothing Products

MCo Beauty says its double duty cheek and lip tint is "a revolutionary dewy gloss formulation that subtly stains desired areas of the face for an effortless boost in colour".

They're not wrong.

I've been using the Lush Cherry shade ever since I picked it up and can confirm, it's a winner.

Let's go through the pros and cons.

Pros:

It's the perfect punchy pinky-red shade and the colour actually matches the one promised on the packaging.
The consistency is thicker than other tints, which can sometimes feel a bit watery.
Even though the tube is teeny tiny, it'll last you for yonks because, as you can see in the shameless selfies below, you only need a smidge to get a subtle tint.
You can build your desired look from a light wash of colour, to a bolder matte liquid lipstick effect by layering the product. (Even then, you won't use more than a drop.)
Bang for your buck - you can also apply a tiny dab on the cheeks for a natural flush.

Cons:

Sadly, this product is part of the brand's limited edition Tropicool Collection and is only available until mid-July.
I find the tint a bit drying applied on its own (I get the same thing with liquid lippies), but layering a clear balm over the top is an easy fix.
It's a bit messy and I somehow managed to get it everywhere, but again, it's $3.50.
I wish it came with an sponge tip or slanted applicator because your finger ends up looking like this after swiping it on.

Thankfully, MCo Beauty have made the tint cheap enough you can chuck one of each colour in your trolley on your way to the tampons and dog food before they sell out.

Heck, for $3.50, you could go wild and buy two.

Cheek and lip tints definitely aren't new, but at a time when we could all use a spare five minutes in our day, they've never been more convenient.
