The Bachelorette's Matty J was" shocked" when he first saw Georgia Love.

As Australia anxiously awaits the result of The Bachelorette finale tomorrow night, your dream boyfriend Matty J has been declaring his feelings left, right and centre.

It’s no secret that Matty – the dark horse for most of the series – has fallen hard and fast for Georgia Love (and yes, we’ve also fallen in love with him, too).

Now, Matty J has told PopSugar Australia that his feelings weren't always so strong to begin with, and that it definitely wasn't love at first sight.

But he blames that all on his nerves of the very first night of the show,

"When I first met her, I think she kind of just shocked me into losing the ability to think," he said.

"I don't really get nervous when I meet someone new, but when I met Georgia...my mind just went blank. I was looking at her thinking, "Matt, pull it together, say something!" She made me feel the most nervous anyone's ever made me feel."

Stop. Matty. We can't handle all of your cuteness.

Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on the outcome of tomorrow night's finale), Matty now says his feelings for Georgia are stronger than ever.

"Every time I see Georgia, my feelings become stronger and stronger. The more time I get to spend with her, that bond between us just seems to strengthen so much more," he said

"After seeing her with my family, I'm gone — hook, line and sinker."
