Meet Beauty Vlogger Idol finalist: Mary Cherry.

I’m Mary. I’m a 21-year-old dreamer, makeup artist and media student at uni. I was always into makeup, so in 2013 I got my certificate II in Retail Makeup and Skincare and in 2014 I got my Diploma of Specialised Makeup Services. At the moment I have my own freelance makeup artistry business as well as intern at Yahoo!7, producing online content for 7’s TV brands.

I started my YouTube channel in 2013, but it didn’t get serious until 2014, that’s when it really kicked off for me. For me YouTube embodies everything I love- makeup and digital/social media; so it’s my ultimate hobby.

Besides YouTube, I love art, reading and writing. My favourite author is George R. R. Martin. I absolutely love A Song of Ice and Fire and the book series that HBO’s Game of Thrones is based on. Naturally, I love HBO’s Game of Thrones too.
