Married At First Sight's Christie let her followers decide on her Melbourne Cup outfit.

It’s the kind of decision you either make yourself or throw to your best friend on a video call.

Married At First Sight star Christie Jordee asked followers on social media which outfit they preferred before she left to attend the Melbourne Cup.

Jordee uploaded a side-by-side comparison shot of her standing in a red figure-hugging Romance The Label dress with either matching red or matching black accessories.

The business owner captioned the post with a little shout out to the designer and a dig at her own lack of smile.

“Mmmmmm ok which look? Red shoes and belt or black shoes and belt? #1stworldproblems #melbournecup2016 #blackorred #black #red love the dress @romancethelabel thank you the quality of the dress is remarkable #restingbitchface,” she wrote.

Out of all comments it seems only one fan was keen for the red option and gave her vote with a mild warning.

“Red! Black makes it look too block-y the red actually flows the colour lovely,” she wrote.

The other fans weren’t convinced and filled the comment section with one call of “black” after another.

The post is just one of many pre-races snaps that have been uploaded to social media before the big reveals on the day.
