Married At First Sight's Alex Garner and Zoe Hendrix have separated.

Married at First Sight’s Zoe Hendrix and Alex Garner have announced they are separating, three years after meeting on the reality show.

Posting on Instagram, Zoe said their priority, at this time, is their daughter.

“It is with sadness that Alex and I would like to state that we will be separating for now.

“We are determined to ensure our beautiful daughter Harper Rose continues to receive the unconditional love and nurturing she deserves from the both of us.

“Thank you to all our followers and friends who have supported us through the highs and lows throughout the years.”

In November 2016, the couple welcomed their first child into the world, Harper Rose, two years after meeting on the reality television show.

In an interview with Woman’s Day after the birth, Zoe said welcoming a child was a “long time coming”.

“I still can’t believe she’s here. Sitting here holding something so precious – that is a part of me, that is my blood – is something I’ve always dreamt of, and I will cherish it forever,” she said.

Alex appeared equally as happy, adding that Zoe was “made to be a mum”.

“She’s stolen my heart in so many ways,” Alex said of his new daughter.

“I just feel like the luckiest man alive!”

In February this year, Zoe wrote for Mamamia about her experience with post-natal anxiety.
