GET READY: The 'Married At First Sight' cast has been announced.

Just like any other guilty pleasure, Married At First Sight has somehow made its way back into our lives and we’re not complaining one bit.

Channel Nine‘s reality television show is returning to our screens on January 28th for its sixth season, and it looks to be a dramatic one. Are we at all surprised?

For those unfamiliar with the premise, strangers are set up with one another for marriage by three experts, based on their characteristics and general compatibility. We think. It makes for entertaining television, nonetheless.

Then, the pair begin living together while the rest of Australia watches intently. Honestly, it’s pretty great – though, not for some couples.

Before the newest season begins, Nine Honey have introduced us to Sam and Elizabeth.

Let’s start with Sam. Sam is… “too good-looking”.

“I always feel judged for my appearance,” Sam told the experts in Channel Nine‘s promotional video.

“They [women] just see me and they don’t want a bar of it. They’re just like, ‘nah’.”

Then, there’s Elizabeth. She too, is quite beautiful. And she is very much aware of it.

“I have strangers come up to me all the time and tell me how beautiful I am,” Elizabeth said. “Like all the time. All the time.”

“People do gravitate towards me,” she confessed. “When I walk into a room, I own it.”

But apparently, there are downsides to being a self professed confident woman.

“Men, they say they want a confident woman… I call BS on that,” she said frankly.

“I’m extremely outspoken… I hope he doesn’t want to run.”

Well, Elizabeth, you, along with the rest of Australia, will soon find out if he does.
