
She's been happily married for the past eight years, but when she was Hollywood’s newest golden girl back in 2013, the last thing on Margot Robbie's mind was finding The One.
"I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit. And then this crept up on me," Robbie, 32, told US Vogue in 2016.
'This' was Tom Ackerley, a handsome British assistant director she met on the set of the World War II drama Suite Francaise.

Unlike so many others in Hollywood, the pair didn't succumb to the temptation of an on-set fling — instead, they remained just good friends, even moving into a share house in South London in 2014 with five other mates.
"We were like, 'Wouldn't it be funny if we all lived together?'" the Australian actress told The Guardian in 2018. “Three days later we signed a lease in Clapham. "I didn’t even see the place — I had to fly out to the Golden Globes three hours after we made the decision.”
The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in the Byron Bay hinterland in 2016, and since then, they’ve had one of the most low-key, yet seemingly solid, marriages in showbiz.
And it seems their firm friendship was the foundation for their lasting relationship, with Robbie admitting it was a slow road from platonic to romantic — even though she always secretly harboured feelings for him.
